**** the new year, nothing personal

Glen Johnson knocked out Roy Jones Jr, so RJJ aint even in Glen Johnsons class at the moment.

So how can you argue RJJ is more of a threat than Glen Johnson at the current moment (minus a year or two)?

You're right, but Tate was a mandatory and the fight never happened. I just just explaining that Pudwill wasn't really his fault.

BTW, why are you even bothering to quote something I wrote 2 years ago?

The only quality fighter he faced in their prime was Kessler.

Kessler is clearly not even top 3 168lbs today:deal This is pathetic..
Hopefully team Elite gets shutdown when their mother's turn off the internet.

jones hopkins 1 was not a big fight it was an undercard fight for a vacant belt and it sucked

only became big later but it was barley significant at the time they were not top stars

Ur a glass jaw expert what do you think of this following post:-

From what I gather, Roy Jones Jr has a better chin than Glen Johnson because Johnson looked a little shaken vs Clinton Woods, but Roy Jones Jr never was shaken vs Clinton Woods

Trying to indicate RJJ was a bigger threat to Calzaghe, than Glen Johnson is to Carl Froch at the moment.

Whats you rebuttal to that then.

Thats right Jones was KOd, but you also hide from the fact that Jones wasnt properly adjusted back to LHW and his and Johnsons last fights with Tarver show that they were of a similar level.
Lots of fighters suffer losses and come back to go above the fighter they lost to. Consider Jones in his last fight went the full 12 with Hopkins who looked unlucky to many against LHW champ Pascal, even scoring a KD against Hopkins (not called) that Hopkins wouldnt have been able to get up within 10 secs from.
Also Johnson is in a division where he has never looked good. Consider also that Johnson is older again from the fights you were rating him for and even more shopworn,
The fights at SMW so as I wrote its hard to judge. This is why I say, it isnt a fair judgement. Once again look at Johnsons SMW resume -

    The losses
M Sosa who had 5 losses and 2 draws, and lost his next 2 fights after beating Johnson
Kiwanuka who had 3 losses and 2 draws, had lost his last 2 fights coming into his fight with Johnson and his fight after Johnson
Ottke 16-0 who in fairness was an outstanding SMW boxer
Vanderpool 27-1 who lost his next fight, but in fairness that was at MW to Hopkins and Vanderpool had a good run after
Branco 38-4-2 who was a world class SMW and became WBA LHW champ
Sheika who was 19-1 and lost his next fight, though in fairness that was to Calzaghe.

    The wins
Campas 3-20-4 coming off of only 2 losses and won his next fight
Watson 24-16-1, Johnson was his last fight
Renteria 9-23-5 coming in, whos last 10 fight record before facing Johnson was 0-8-2
Zimmerman 15-2-0 coming in, who had lost his previous fight and the one after
A Green 29-2-0 coming in and Johnsons biggest SMW victory

Never said Jones had a better chin, you know that also, and you said Jones is more tricky.
For you to reply I copied the previous quote for you, as I didnt realise you had quoted me twice

Who did Calzaghe cherry pick against. He was a SMW that beat the best that would face him and he also beat Americas 2 best SMWs of his era, totally ruining them.
    Fact

He fought a couple of old men and a collection of bums for 10 years. Lacy was a 2nd rate fighter plain and simple. At his best there is not a single legit world champion he could beat. Joe didn't deserve the decision in his awful performance against Hopkins. His best win was against the robotic 1 2 fighter Kessler.

Lets not forget that at the beginning of Joe's "Reign" the WBO was not even recognized as a legit sanctioning body.

It adds up to Joe being a fraud.
