What is wrong with adamek? He started off well as a heavy, he should have stepped up after being arreola.

This win proves nothing at all, he is doing a povetkin and his wins are getting less and less relevant.

Ok, to the fight. I expect a very wide decision win for adamek, he should school hasim at this point. I would be very surprised if adamek was able to stop hasim, that would be an indication of his power at the weight. Would be interesting if hasim is able to get a combo off and see how adamek takes the punches. I do think he is chinny as a heavyweight.

It honestly seems to me like adamek is protecting his ranking waiting for haye/vitali to retire.

Rahman? This fight does nothing to prepare him for Wlad or Vitali.
He'd be better off fighting Grant again.

Apparently Peter wanted too much money. This fight in Poland is nothing but another stay busy fight mainly to please his Polish fanbase. Klitschkos didn't work out because Vitali is forced to fight Solis and Wlad is tied up with Haye. If I'm not mistaken Boytsov and Povetkin already declined fighting Tomasz. There aren't many choices.

I got Adamek by decision, but Rocks corner isn't throwing no towel in. For one, Adamek aint no power threat to him. Rock can basically walk forward all night while Adamek pounds him with jabs and hooks.

For two, Rock knows he can land that ONE shot against the questionable grill of Adamek and not risk tasting the canvas while trying for it.

Thanks, that's what I mean, still a little drowzy from the hospital :good

Yea Adamek, will absolutely have enough to beat what is left of Rahman, who as you stated, was in trouble against a guy with 0 ko's fairly recently.

The power, early, is the only Rahman has a chance with.

    Smart fight for Adamek.

Rock is old and unmotivated. This is just a better payday than vs the likes of Mccall or Gomez or thier type.

As for the potential fight with Peter, that would be a huge mistake for the Adamek camp since Peter is both young and powerful and able to take anything and everything Adamek could throw at him.

That would be a repeat of the Jeremy Williams fight with Adamek leaving in a hearse.

    Stupid fight.

I wouldn't watch it, or even be interested. Hope it's not gonna happen.

    1. Name one fighter who is more active than Adamek.
    2. Name one top 10 heavy who has fought more than 1 top ten boxer in the last 12 months (aside from the champs who are expected and forced to defend their belt against top comp).

Adamek's people are being smart, that's all. They realize that Adamek is as ready as he'll ever be for a K-bro so they are keeping him safe (i.e., undamaged) but warm (busy) till the title fight comes. Is it ideal? No. I would much rather have Adamek beat top comp until he tears up the top 10 and is ready for a spectacular showdown with the Klits. But in today's boxing world, this ain't happening (partly because other people in the top 10 would rather fight bums and wait till their title fight comes, than fight one another). Look at the problems he just had signing with Peter. This was Peter's golden chance to get back into the mix. It's not easy getting these prima donnas into the ring you know.

If Rahman is motivated with proper training this could be hell for the former LHW champion.

Agree. Very disappointing fight. At this stage i dont even rate Rahman higher than Maddalone.
