maybe he wants to finish on a win, but i think it wouldent be sexton if that was the case, he has that underwater appearence at times, boxing is a progressive game, theres punishment coming win loose or draw, and looking at the sighns he doesen't need anymore, he's been a brit champ, wich some fighters can only dream of, plus he will have a young family etc, he's better to bail out while he can.:think:good
Imo Power wins this & Wins the British SF Title before deciding to call it a day. His record of late is not great, but Four of his loss's came to Hall & Munyai & 1 each to Napa and Davies. I have watch Power's last few fights,Hall was just too big !! Power was the classy fighter,he threw the better combos but his punch's had no effect on the bigger Hall.Power was stopped on his feet,he wasn't floored or hurt IMO. The fight before Hall,Power stopped Edmonds in 5 rounds,Come Feb 5th Power will shine & beat Sexton.
That's fair enough mate nobody is doubting his ability but u think ppl are just concerned about his future health his speech sounds quite badly slurred in interviews and taking more punches is nit going to help. If he does fight on hope he does well tho true warrior.:good
Lost to Akaba who lost to Truscott. That fight was a joke tbh...he was asked to fight at Featherweight. (Two weights above). Dunno what the hell Maloney was doing with him. He then had a few wins back home and lost his last fight for WBC Silver title in Mexico on points. Deducted two points which ended up costing him a MD. Other judge had the other guy by 3 rounds so would of took it to one point.
