When someone's 'opinion' of a fighter who has fought for the Commonwealth, British and European titles is that they are "****", I'd rather not hear them.
Rob we arent saying its a place for boxers etc to hear how great they are. There is a difference between brown nosing every person involved in the fight game on here and being honest but showing a level of respect for fighters. Calling Matthew Hall **** is not showing a level of respect
you telling me you have never called a boxer ****? its only a big deal because his trainer comes on here. theres plenty of brown nosing in this thread. Lets be real 154 was not a strong division when he came through. Pryce has his fingers down his throat to make weight, Small (also ****) was made to look like Floyd Mayweather against Hall in one of the worst fights i have ever seen and he got his european title fight because he has a good promoter.
that should be limited to some of the latvian bums brought over to pad the records of our prospects. not someone who fought for a european title and came up short against a fringe world-level opponent in a very entertaining fight.
i just think your feelings on the word **** are different to mine. i just dont think he was any good.
Opinon on saying he's not very good ok I don't like it but your entitled to an opinion but saying he's **** is just disrespectful and wrong!!
Matthew Hall - exciting fighter to watch, some similarities to Mike Tyson. He is limited and this was showed during the Small and Konesky fight BUT the lad is a decent boxer and still has a lot to offer at domestic level. Id like to see him rematch Pryce and then look at taking a domestic title. He needs a few easy fights to build his confidence back up first
Rob you are clearly having problems understanding the subtle differences of the sport. There is a difference between a hard working journeyman who comes to fight and an Eastern European who comes over to fall over and collect a cheque There is a difference between Bellew hyping and selling a fight but ultimately respecting his opponents and the type of patronising condescending view that some fighters genuinely hold because they have such an inflated opinion of themselves.
this is genuinely my impression of Tony Bellew and one of the reasons I am a fan of his. since i have been following boxing matthew hall is my least favourite fighter.
