I think Adamek is a very busy fighter, lots of movement, good power. Rahman is not, and he's rated #22 on Boxrec.

Its going to be a slaughter, and a BS fight.

I'd rather see Adamek vs. Chambers or Dimitrenko.

Rahman wouldn't be the worst possible opponent but I did get a a bit excited of possible Sam Peter fight.. Shannon Briggs would be pretty interesting too.

Lol that decission over a fat Arreola is better than anything Haye has done at HW, and he's been at this weight 12 months longer than Adamek. Adamek has also accomplished at least as much at CW as Haye. And then theres LHW. Haye hypes himself up by talking and being a clown - Adamek wants no part of that ****. Haye only generates interest from the Brits and from others who want to see him get KTFO as soon as he steps in with his first live HW opponent.

I was excited for the Peter fight too. I think Adamek should consider fighting Thompson, who has been reasonably active but against much lesser comp following his loss against Wlad. Unlike Peter, Thompson is still seen as undamaged goods and he is a tall opponent, so Adamek would get mad respect if he wins. I think some previous posters are correct about TA's strategy - it seems to be fighting name fighters, in order to get more known in the States and at thesame time picking those fighters who are on a slide (Peter) or are past it (Rahman, RJJ). But this isn't anything new.

Everyone in the top 10 seems to be mutually avoiding one another for obvious reasons. They should either change the rules of who deserves a title shot (even optional defenses ) or have a HW tournament. Top guys should frequently be forced to fight one another, or they don't get title shots at all. This is the one thing the UFC does well.

Yea, Peter would have been a far more interesting opponent for Adamek.

But either way, Adamek's activity level always keeps me from complaining too much.

He's still waiting on the chance against a titleholder so he's not gonna take on anyone too crazy.

Meanwhile Grant was a tougher fight than he expected and Rahman I'd say punches harder than, so it won't be a walk in the park.

I think this fight is more about making an event in Poland and keeping busy so whatever is fine with me.

I think after Vitali takes care of the Solis-Ole winner he'll take him on by Fall at MSG.

Unless we get a surprise and either Wlad or Haye take on after their talks fall apart (but again I don't Haye goes anywhere near him).
