    Alright Fellas

Was watching abit of ''The President'' Ike Ibeabuchi this morning and got me thinking about him vs heavyweight's nowadays and how he'd fair.

I did try a thread like this a long while back with the fantastic crop of lightweights we had back in 90's early 0's....the lack of footage made it hard for guys who never seen Murray/Schwer and Dunne etc. This might work better.

I will start with Semi Finals and Finals with 4 fighters from past and present.

You can add your own tournaments as thread wears on.

My one is a Heavyweight One with two ex fighters and two present champions. Both Ex-fighters being in Prime vs the Current Champions.

Them two vs Wladimir of now and Vitali around the Lewis fight and after before his hiatus.

    Who wins and Why??.. :good

Ike Ikeabuchi (for people that haven't seen him)

Ibeabuchi was a beast. He was like a mix of Holyfield and Tyson. What he did to Tua and Bird was incredible, especially the way he approached the Tua fight. I've never seen such a big man throwing such volume with that type of athleticism and power. I think he would walk that tourney, he would destroy Wladimir and is one of the very few who can decision Vitali.

Moorer wasn't as good at Heavyweight, he would've been too small for either Klitscho. Vitali and Ike in the final with Ike doing the unthinkable and stopping Vitali late.

If Moorer let his hands go against Vitali I wouldn't rule out a win for him, but he was probably a bit small.

He looked great outboxing a fat, old Foreman but still got caught and stopped. Obviously Vitali isn't as heavy handed but I think a late stoppage in his favour would be the smart bet.

Hagler would out-hustle Toney. James was to lazy on his feet to beat a workhourse with an ATG great chin. Hagler would decision him.

Monzon would destroy Barkley. Monzon was an absolute beast, so heavy handed with serious swagger and intangibles. Monzon stops Barkley, just too good.

Hagler vs. Monzon in the final. I think Monzon would win on points. Monzon is one of those guys who doesn't look that great but his strengths and results are undeniable. He was extremely strong physically and mentally, he was brutally heavy handed and not easy to outbox. I think he could beat Marvin which ever way Marvin approached it. It would be fireworks!

Just out of curiosity Slips do you reckon Monzon would stop Barkley early or late? Would Barkley not just go after him in the first three, contributing to his downfall of course.

I wonder if anyone would give The Blade a shot.

Yep, the more he stepped to Monzon the worse it would be. Iran was a tough tough man, but i think he would be stopped early. It was all or nothing with Iran, bad look against a killer like Monzon.

Ibeabuchi is up there with Tua as one of the most over-rated heavyweights ever. Wlad would dominate him, yes, dominate.

Tommy Hearns is the worst possible matchup for Floyd Mayweather.

Worse than Leonard, worse than Duran..... he'd have absolutely no chance.
