    Who wins????

Can you imagine this fight happening? Steady lads don't drool just yet...

If ever there was a sure fire candidate for foty this is it. Bloody, brutal and epic and given the way these guys are in and out the ring they want to give the fans nothing but entertainment.

We'd even have a trilogy on our hands should both men survive!!! We ain't had a great trilogy in a while too.

    A guy can dream

Surprisingly easy for Maidana I think.

For some reason I really want to see Urango Vs Maidana think that would be an insane battle. I just think Maidana is too big and powerful for Kats. would be entertaining though

I see a war. Laz some how didn't see it if i remember. Katsidis would try to box a bit but he would revert back to type and actually try get close which would probably be safest place for him with a guy like Maidana.

I think he would lose his strength advantages at 140lbs...Maidana is a big man when out of camp. Although that doesn't mean he's strong i just don't see Katsidis having power to hurt him or the speed to catch him and shock him. I'd attack the body of Maidna if i was Kats.

My worry would be him taking accumulation of hard shots from Maidana......i think he would get staggered and stopped in a bloody and grueling fight around 8th.

Torres was an exciting fighter. shame the Holt head butt was his last meaningful fight . Heard he looked like **** in his fight at 154. His fight with Cotto is one of my recent favorites.

Such a shame, a kid said to me last night he's getting into boxing so i sent him the Holt fight and he was like WOW. When i watched it...that first knockdown was world class. He timed that right hand beautifully....Holt had some recovery to bounce back up.

Gutted he's at 154....that night he was really robbed by cruel luck.....he could of had a big fight if he won that at 140.

I'm not sure there are many that can stand up and fight Maidana in the middle of the ring. Maidana by KO.

Now Miadana - Valero. Now that would have been nuts!

Yeah the first Knockdown was a peach. Knew exactly where Holt was and landed it perfectly. I wish that had gone on a few rounds remember the two of them just going hell for leather after the knockdown just swinging. Shame the third fight didn't come off think torres was having problems making the weight can't really remember.

I've still to see the 1st fight in full its on youtube but real **** quality. Wasn't there a bit of controversy there as well? Think Holt said he was hit with a bottle of beer  The stoppage was also very soft.

It wouldn't last long enough to be known as a war. If you want a great fight (FOTY) then put in a pressure fighter against a boxer that will move. Soto-Antillon, Khan-Maidana, Cotto-Margarito, etc are examples of how great fights can be made with those styles. Brawler/Pressure fighter against the same won't last that long.

Yeah agreed. I remember talk about it and then i think he pulled out?...i think Hopkins took his place and what a pile **** that was.

 Yeah when Holt was in corner he was hit with beer....and he slipped in corner as well. The stoppage if i remember Holt was badly hurt yet the ref stopped it after he weathered the storm and just as he threw a punch back the ref stepped in and waved it off. It was home cooking...i give Holt massive props for going out there. It looked like a local leisure centre with pissed Colombians and no security ...**** that for a laugh!

Depends what weight its at...at 140 probably Maidana...but at 135 I'd go for Katsidis
