Wlad would probably not survive longer than 2 rounds either.

:lol:possibly but based on what actually happened, norton's win against ali and brave stand (in losing) against holmes is at the top of his resume. we can't assume wlad would have lost, but we do know that norton did.

(however, i pretty sure norton would've destroyed purrity and brewster)

    Prime Wlad against Prime Holmes?
I'll certainly assume that Wlad would have lost, by decision or late stoppage.

There's no guarantee at all that a 78 Holmes is better than Wlad at his best- old Norton nearly pulled off the win in that fight, and I think Wlad's clearly a better H2H heavyweight than a late 70's Norton.

Are we going to rank guys base on more losses than wins??

When Norton beat Ali, that was more than Louis, Marciano, Holmes, Tyson and others did in there entire run. But we cant hold that against this elite group because, well near prime Ali was not around during there hay day. Yes I dont count Holmes win over Ali.

Wlad has rule for about 5 years, pretty much clean out the divsion outside of his brother, and in due time, I feel Wlad will be rank among the elite of the group.

regardless, based on all time rankings, if you say norton is higher it can't be by that much?

They're both pretty lacklustre resume wise.

Of course Norton has a win over a great version of Ali, and he took a prime Holmes to the brink.

I'm going with Norton, but it's close.

Yet, Wlad would be the best fighter he ever beat.

I wouldn't bet on Wlad, but I am sure he would bust up and likely drop Holmes. His jab is stronger than Holmes and almost as quick. He has a great, not good, right hand which we all know is kryptonite to Holmes. And inside, he would tie up the relatively scrawny Holmes. The problem is that though one may put Holmes down, he will keep getting up and fights hurt better than any heavy I remember seeing. So, this is no walk in the park and is in fact a winnable fight for Wlad. I just would put my money on Holmes.

nope. norton showed he could compete with elite opposition and fight great fighters. wlad showed he could get knocked out by ordinary fighters and feast over this lousy division. you're just bias because you're some German who loves the klits. Fact of the matter is I don't see norton losing to wlad. Wlad's shot would early and then once norton builds up confidence he will be all over wlad with a vicous body attack and bombs everywhere. Norton was also hard to hit with a jab and straight shots. Wlad would need body shots and an uppercut to beat Kenny. something he rarely shows.

yes I believe they are very close. I got norton higher based on his advanced wins over Ali, young, quarry, Garcia, Cobb, ledoux, and Clark.
