Bradley beat Witter when he'd been undefeated for a very long time and then unified against Holt (who is spotty but was still dangerous at the time). Then he took Peterson's undefeated record and stepped up to welter to face an unheralded but undefeated opponent. He was also handing out a beating to Nate Campbell before the older man quit with a head wound. Ward has only one notable victory over a reigning titlist in Kessler (who'd looked awful in his last few fights), a good win over a clear b-level guy in Bika and a win over a complete joke in Allan Green. So it's pretty clear Bradley's got the better wins. Arguing for Ward as a top ten fighter is just preposterous at the moment.
Yeah of course Alexander has a good chance in that fight also. I think we should get a confirm by next week, the date is set for April 16th in the U.K. I think Peterson will get the call.
I guess thats where the disagreement lies. I thought Kessler was a quality fighter. I also tipped Ward to beat him If anyone had outpointed Kessler I would have rated them top 15-10 in the world (obviously depending on what they do after) After the Ward fight he came back and beat Carl Froch. Thats impressive and he would be the No.2 Super Middle in the world if he wasnt semi retired.
but you did pick holes in every one of Wards wins and failed to do so with Lopez. thats what I saw as being bias. Lopez has never beat the number 1 fighter in his division, Ward had and thats the key reason why I rank him ahead of Lopez. I think Ponce De Leon is only slightly better than Green or Bika.
I'd prefer Peterson than Katsidis to be honest. Katsidis is just too small to have much of a chance. Though I cant see Peterson winning either, nothing too special about him and he got absolutely handled by Bradley.
Bradley is ahead of Ward but its not preposterous to say Ward is as well. This is what I mean about failing to recognize other opinions. I get why you wouldnt have Ward top 15 but its not crazt to have him there. I have him top 10. I really rated Kessler and Ward dominated him. After that Kessler beat Froch who as you have said has quality wins.
That is ludacris. Green is a nothing fighter and Bika losses to any top fighter he fights. You're seriously underrating Ponce de Leon.
Oh please! Did you watch the Bradley - Witter fight and the Bradley - Campbell fight? Witter was shot to **** - his reflexes were gone - and you include it in your analysis to prop up Bradley's laughable existence in the top ten! Campbell was heading for defeat against Bradley for sure, but he is another one who is over the hill - look at his fights after the Bradley one for further proof - it is ridiculous to use this as well. His best win was against Peterson, but that was a competitive UD - hardly inspiring and as I said against a guy with a padded record. Ward's destruction of Kessler - who was Super Six tournament favourite at the time (and went on to take Froch's unbeaten record) was very impressive and is better than anything that Bradley has achieved. So too is Froch's schooling of Abraham. By the way, just so we are crystal clear - I pulled out an unworthy top ten fighter - Bradley and argued that Froch or Ward are more deserving of a place than Bradley.

Yes, from the points on boxrec that is clear, but watch the fight and although Bradley won most of the rounds - they were still competitive rounds - not a beating or a schooling.
Other than Segura and Lee being too high in my opinion, and Ward being above Montiel and Lopez it's an alright list.
