Oli McCall is no quitter. He had a mental breakdown in the ring after Don King took him out of rehab to put him into the ring with Lewis for the rematch. And technically, McCall didn't quit - he just stood there and took flush bombs from Lewis without even giving a damn anymore.
And the Klitschkos are opposed to the pro - Russian political wing in the Ukraine, so you might as well be biased. Klitschko was not embarassed by Bryd, who won perhaps two rounds. He made a decision to save his career for the cost of one loss. In some ways a bad move, but if you see where Jeff Lacy went after fighting 12 rounds with a torn rotator cuff, maybe a good decision.
DLH was bad but he had a broken nose. Against Mayweather he was the champion, looked relatively fresh and unmarked but still decided he had had enough.
Yeah maybe because Duran had already beaten Leonard once, whereas Vitali never wanted to fight Byrd again after being embarrassed the first time.:deal
The Duran-Leonard II quittage was disgraceful, but keep in mind that Duran didn't want the rematch in the first place. Or better: he did want a rematch, but not that soon. Leonards people made it happen though and forced Duran into the ring, knowing that Duran had partied hard after his win over Leonard and wouldn't be 100% ready. Duran was getting so frustrated by Leonard in the rematch then that his pride took over him and he quit. Yes, Duran quit because of his pride: he didn't want to get embarrassed by Leonard any longer. Duran was certainly not afraid of Leonard, and we all know he faced him a 3rd time.
Wlad was born in Kazakhstan, and Viltali was born in Kyrgyzstan. You are obviously part of the international conspiracy to conceal the Klitschkos' true identities. :huh
Pac landed at will for 8 round on dlh, dlh never went down. DLH wasnt exaggerating, if he hit hard he would have been dropped and stopped with all the flush shots he took.
Most people never bother to score the fight as they watch it, knowing that Vitali is going to quit and knowing that the judges had it wide for Vitali. But it was a hometown decision in the making. Vitali hurt his arm because Byrd was making him miss badly, over and over again. Defense and ring generalship would have won Byrd the fight in America.
