Seems like a hell of a risk to take when you have the richest HW fight in years lined up and ready to go just 2-3 months later.

Not so much a risk of Wlad losing... but getting some kind of injury that fks the whole plan up... I agree with staying busy, but I'm not sure this is a good idea.

I'll believe it when I see it.

I understand that. At the same time I'm very confident in my sources. Would not have posted if I wasn't.

I understand what you are saying....but at the same time, as a fighter you don't want to sit on the sidelines for so long.
If Wlad-Haye could have been made for March/April, I'm sure Wlad would go straight for Haye. However, if it's late June/early July,
that would be 9-10 months between fights...too much of a layoff, imo. So it's smart to fight Chisora first.

You can't limited yourself by always worrying or delaying because of "worst case scenarios" and "What Ifs".

Plus, Wlad will make a great deal of money against Chisora anyway (remember Wlad makes money as a fighter AND promoter)...it's not like he'll be fighting for peanuts.

Kind of defeats the point of fighting Chisora if your going to look past him at Haye. Not to mention disrespectful to Del Boy as well.

So Haye will face WBA mandatory.. Chagaev or SNV 2.

I'm just the messenger, we shall see....

Why too good to be true? Don't you agree that 9-10 months between fights for Wlad is too long? If so, it makes sense to fight someone else before Haye.

Haye should be running towards Chagaev, considering how poor Chagaev looked in his last fight.

But I don't bet on that happening. I say Haye waits it out, not risking the big $$$ against Wlad.

If Haye does not fight either Klitschko then he has a mandatory defense coming up against Chagaev. He has to fight him by April 3rd (or duck him somehow).

No way Wlad fights Haye 2-3 months after Chisora. He's not 21 anymore and fighters of that stature fight twice a year tops, usually fights are spread out every 7-8 months or so.

I can't see Wlad agreeing to fight Chisora and then head right into training camp for the Haye fight.

    Not happening.

    1. Sky will make millions from the PPV's in the UK there is no way they would let the fight fall through

    2. Haye has said he will retire in October. Although most take that with a pinch of salt how does Haye have two fights in June then October.

    3. There no way they do the fight in July as its Holiday's for Germans and Brits. It would have to be June and April to close

Doesn't sound too bad although I'd love to see Wlad/Haye as soon as possible. But if Wlad takes out Chisora first and Haye in the mean time gets rid of Chagaev in a more impressive fashion than Wlad (of which I believe he's capable of. Chagaev looked shot vs. Meehan and Walker) the fight would become even bigger.

I can live with that scenario as long as the Haye fight in 2011 is guaranteed.

Absolutely no way would Sky not back this. None. If the fight has fallen apart, it won't be because of Sky.
