Dont think he was ever offered that fight but if Rogie v Barrett is on in march Macklin v Lee would be a great headline for that card.

I'm only half an hour from Limerick so I'll probably head down to the conference then if it's on Monday week.

He was offered a two fight deal, Duddy and then Macklin (if he won) and he rejected it. Now that his plans for getting a big fight in the States have gone tits up, he should look to fight Macklin in March/April. I'm sure Peters and Macklin are still up for it.

Thats my point he was never offered a european fight with Macklin,Both Andy and Duddy said they would take the deal if they got a straight shot at Macklin not having to fight each other first.
At the minute i would put my money on Andy to beat Macklin and both to beat Duddy.

That contradictory. They wanted to fight each other (Duddy and Lee) so why would they take issue with a fight with Macklin afterwords, if they said what you claim they did (saying they wanted to fight Macklin). After they rejected that deal they went into negotiations for a fight between the two. What you said doesn't add up.

I agree with you, I think Lee takes them both, definitely Duddy, he'd probably stop Macklin aswell. That's why I'm so keen for it to happen, it;s a golden opportunity for Lee and puts him right up there with the big boys of the division.

If he couldn't beat Eddie he should stay away from Pajo.
