How Techniaclly Skilled was Harry Greb?

    out of curiosity, do you remember the name of the bar?

    Given the respective descriptions of their styles, I have always been somewhat inclined to think of Greb as a larger light hitting Wilde. They are both described as throwing non stop, relying on head movement for defense, and keeping a low guard. Any thoughts on this idea?

    I've never heard of Wilde as being described as such, nor have I seen the footage to back up that assessment. Wilde seemed more a drawing/counter type money puncher. Nothing like Greb at all, to be frank.

    I suppose he is, I have only seen that description once anyway. I believe it was part of Burt Sugars description in 100 greatest boxers perhaps. Or maybe it was somewhere totally different. The footage I have access too (youtube) certainly doesn't look that way you are right.

    I got that actually, but I will remember more in the future. I should already know to be careful of sources.
