How do you define the term "pure boxer" and "boxer puncher"?

You answered your own question. Pure boxing guys like Floyd and Whitaker also box most of the time, but they would fight on the inside if needed.

Some of the guys you list as boxer-punchers I consider to be pure boxers or technical boxers that have a lot of power.

The way I define a boxer puncher is a boxer that has good fundamental offensive skills from the outside but not someone with elite overall skills. Outside offense is their main arsenal, not counter-punching or inside fighting. They also have a tendency to not offer much footwork or movement, my current examples would be Mikkel Kessler and Jermain Taylor.

I don't consider Ali to be a boxer puncher.

Generally I consider the difference to be one of mobility.Usually you'll see a boxer puncher plant their feet, rely on combinations and accurate strikes aimed at vital points. Pure boxers move around a lot more, they rely on speed clearly above all else, and typically incorporate an element of cleverness, slickness, or unorthodoxy in style.

There are plenty of hybrids(ray robinson for example, or roy jones) but that's usually what sticks out to me.

Mayweather has always been and will always be a pure boxer.

 

The best way to classify fighters is to start by defining the categories for type of boxers. Next is figuring out which traits your boxer has from each category. Then labeling your fighter after figuring out his strongest and most used traits.

well for me there is something wrong with those words..boxer puncher because every boxer punches ..either he hits or not..still he punch. i go for

I think Sugar Ray Leonard, Thomas Hearns are good examples of a boxer puncher.
