Dzin is too much risk with little reward but Martinez don't mind fighting him. Dzin imo could beat Pirog.
Pirog beats a prospect and now he is going to beat Martinez? I want to see more of him but this is getting ridiculous. I'd like to see him beat one of Lorenzo, Macklin, Lopez, Geale etc and then a fight with Martinez might get me excited. He needs to get active and ASAP.
Good case for Macklin or Gaele as they both are in the WBO's MW top 10, but I don't see Lorenzo wanting anything to do with Pirog after his loss to Sturm. He'll probably take 1 or 2 easy fights before another crack at a title. Thing is, Gaele is no tune-up for Pirog. He wants an easy day in Russia before coming to America, and I don't think he wants a young talent to spoil him.
You're probably right that Lorenzo isn't looking for him but he gives everyone a tough fight and has a good chin, so I see him as the perfect next opponent for Pirog. Fight with Macklin or Gaele though would show us where Pirog is at though. HBO should do a BAD double header with the Lemieux-Rubio fight and throw Pirog on the undercard so that fans can get to know these two guys and match them up in a big fight later this year. :smoke
