Does anybody think he might have gotten some kind of mental defect as a result of the crash? Or was this happening before hand? I'm not really too aware of the details.
I'm assuming it was happening before. But even then, the people around him knew what was going on...they didn't get him the right help...and they, in a way, allowed him to murder his wife, and leave their child/children parent-less. I don't buy into all these excuses like, 'The accident made him go crazy'...'It wasn't his fault he killed his wife'. A head trauma can mess you up, but a murderer is a murderer. I like this particular excuse, 'He killed himself after-wards because he realized what he did, and it showed how much he cared.' Bollocks.
He was a great fighter but a very troubled man. He could have become a marquee name given time and a more stable temper.
Oh no man, I wasn't making excuses for him, I just didn't really bother getting the details of the story, so I don't really know much about it. I know what you mean though, how he could do that to his children is beyond me. And you're right, killing yourself is not showing guilt, it's taking the cowards way out and showing you can't take the punishment that is less than what you deserve.
Oh right sorry mate, just that I said something similar in my original question. You're right though, a murderer is a murderer, I just didn't know if there was more to it or not.:good
Its not the cowards way out, maybe he felt he doesnt deserve to live anymore! he gave himself the death penalty.
And as a result left his children as orphans. I'm not sure what their ages are but this could scar them for life. That's taking the cowards way out.
