ive had one post deleted from this thread already , so i dont wanna over step the mark but you can guess what the post contained
See this is what really puzzles me. Glass jaws have existed in boxing since the first punch was thrown. Fighters differ in their punch resistance. Some have glass jaws, some chins are shaky, others are iron. It's just the way it is. Yet, when you point that out, some people act like you're committing heresy or something. It didn't used to be that way for the most part. My theory is that you now have a lot of young people who are fans of particular fighters and when they see their faves identified for their less-than-stellar punch resistance, they get all hot under the collar. Hey, it's just reality. GLASS JAWS EXIST in BOXING!
Question for Zak..... Aren't you a college professor in your 40's? If that's the case, why are you creaming in your pants like a little 12 year old who's kissed a girl for the first time. I've been on here three years almost to the day, and it was old after about three weeks. This obsession with Glass Jaws/Chins is freakish. :finger back to the ****** Room :hi:
I am, and it's not. Punch resistance is a critical variable that determines the outcome of boxing matches, however it is one where fans continually underestimate its importance. Of worse, angrily deny its existence and assert unprovable nonsense like "that punch woulda KOd anybody." Therefore, chin analysts such as myself have an obligation to enlighten the boxing community of the importance of punch resistance and remind them that GLASS JAWS EXIST in BOXING!
If all far left nutters look like that I'm glad that I sit on the other side of the fence. Jesus, you are one ugly *******.
This video is a joke. Half the shots on there would have floored any fighter in the respectful weight class. It should be labelled a boxing KO Highlight reel not glass jaw. I mean look at the ashley sexton one to start with. Show me one fighter in the world at that weight that would have taken that shot? I'll save you time there isn't one!!! Therfore according to you eberyone at that weight has a glass chin. Well done.:good
It's not that you so kindly 'inform' us of glass jaws that is annoying, its how often you feel the need to do it and how disrespectful you are of fighters that you believe have them. Calling them jokes or whatnot because they were not born with great resistance to punches from trained punchers is disgusting childish behaviour. You also never give fighters you've labeled with this tag any credit when they achieve something, when if their chin was so bad it speaks volumes for their performance.
