HAYE REFUSED to allow Wlad an interim fight...everything would have been set for July 2nd, if Haye would have been okay with Wlad fighting Chisora first.

And if TV and location would have worked for April, this fight would also have been made.

And the Klitschko side was okay with Haye taking an interim fight also.

    So, to summarize everything:

July 2nd was the earliest date that would work for both TV stations and the venue.

Klitschko side said we want an interim fight, 9-10 months off is too long, and Haye can take an interim fight too if he wants.

    Haye side said no.

So, instead of Haye lining up two fights, first Chagaev, and then Wladimir, Haye just has one fight now, with Chagaev.

Does that make sense on the part of Haye? To anyone?

How is that Wlad ducking?? :huh:huh

Because in this case, Wlad's desire to "remain active" by fighting a totally outclassed 14 fight novice is preventing the Haye fight from happening. This is just a public sparring session from Wlad, it doesn't test him or keep him sharp, you talk about ring rust but I'd be suprised if Chisora last more than 2 rounds. I foresee a 60 second blowout personally.

If Wlad can fight Chisora and then, 8 weeks later, fight Haye then no problem, but that's not the case, Klitschko is now saying I'll fight you later in the year, they're talking August/September, which is absolute bull****.

The thing is though, Wlad isn't that active. When he fights Chisora, it will be seven months since the Peter fight. Before the Peter fight, he rested for six months since he fought Chambers. After the Chagaev fight, he rested for nine months before facing Chambers. He had a six month layoff before fighting Chagaev. Before that, he had a string of three fights against Rahman, Thompson and Ibragimov where he fought every five months.

If he does fight Haye on the proposed date, that will be a two month rest, something Wlad hasn't done since 2000.

Of course he won't fight him July 2nd if he's had a fight 8 weeks previously, July 2nd is the earliest possible date, but it's not the only date. They would in the next round of negtiotion post-Chisora ask that the fight be scheduled for August.

If anyone is ducking its Haye. Wlad has agreed to fight Haye on July 2nd. How is it reasonable for Haye to expect Wlad to not practice his profession until then?

Why is it so absurd that Wlad could fight again after 2 months? Especially when the Apr. 30 will be his first fight of the year. If Wlad wants to fight 3 times this year then April, July, and a Fall fight works perfect.

Just this year, he had a fight Sept and another scheduled for Dec, less than a 3 month break.

By all means, if Wlad wants to do it then good for him, however he's not fought 2 fights in 2 months in 11 years! I have a hard time believing he'll agree to the July 2nd date, he'll want it pushing back to August to allow him a full traning camp.

Here's the real question, Wlad has had a few 9-month layoffs in his career already, usually he waits 6months or so between fights, so how come it's so essential for wlad to "remain active" by fighting a totally outclassed opponent who has no hope of winning? By fighting Chisora, he makes it much harder to get a fight between Haye and Wlad Klitschko done by the end of the year. So why do it?

Anyone who thinks Wlad is ducking Chisora is a fool. Chisora has no business being in a boxing ring with Wlad Klitschko, he is the worst heavyweight title challenger I can think of. Klitschko should be embarassed fighting someone who's so inferior to him
