THis post proves exactly WHY the work the Chincheckers do here at ESB is SO desperately needed. You have no proof - NONE - whatsoever that "that punch" would have KOd "everyone at that weight." This is exactly the kind of absurd conjecture that I seek to combat. The one thing we DO know, is that THAT punch KOd THAT fighter. And given the way that chin shattered, chances are it's not so solid.:deal
To be honest we should probably give him more credit for being able to type on this forum. To do so with what is obviously quite serious ******ation speaks volumes of his efforts!!!
If you had half the analytical ability you think you have you'd note that the guy did not even see that punch, hence his inability to tense his neck resulting in his head flailing both ways on impact. This is the primary reason people talk about punches you can't see, the ones you can see can be braced for. How that equates to having a bad chin I'm not quite sure. I'm willing to bet you have no idea who that guy is either, but I'll inform you that was the only time he's been stopped.
It's because of people like you that Boxing is going down the shitter. It is because of people like you that I lose faith in man kind and why the human race is dying in it's own filth. You are a parochial, immoral ****. Now for the love of god **** off back to the ****** room where you can have your intellectual discussions about Chins.
Yeah, me, some middle-age boxing fan who teaches at a small university is somehow going to bring down boxing! Listen, I've been a diehard boxing fan for the majority of my life - which is probably longer than most of you have been alive - so believe me, I am as dedicated to the sport as anyone. And, because I am an educator by profession, I am dedicated to EDUCATING boxing fans about the importance of punch resistance. Something, sadly, that most boxing fans can't seem to grasp, or want to deny. When I was first watching boxing 35 years ago, it wasn't that way. People understood the importance of having a good chin, and recognized that LOTS of fighters had glass jaws. I seriously cannot understand why you people can't accept that fighters have glass chins. Or why it provokes such hostility from the testosterone-infused crowd. What the hell is so wrong with pointing out that some fighters don't take a particularly good punch? Jeez, it's reality.
It's is ABSOLUTELY clear that his punching power was overrated, or significantly diminished by exhaustion. This WILL become clear with subsequent fights, btw. It already has with Prescott. Who of note has he KOd since he starched the Glass Jawed Konman?
This comment proves that you know very little about boxing. Nobody here has denied that glass jaws exist in boxing...many have simply become annoyed at your baiting and distinct lack of class. I find it truly astonishing that YOU would be considered intelligent enough to be considered worthy of working at a university!!! Or maybe you are just a cleaner there? You may well be a 'fan' of sorts but knowledgable you most certainly are not.
Exactly. They are intended to entertain, as well as enlighten. I become more convinced with time that many boxing fans are humorless ****s who just can't lighten up at all. These personal attacks just astound me, frankly. If you don't like talking about glass chins, don't open my threads! ****, this isn't rocket science.
Haha class video, the production standards are impeccable, the smashing glass sound effects are well placed and not too distracting or overpowering...well done...good job to all involved in putting it together. Whens the next installment?
hey zak in your next video u must put bernard dunne in it he had a terrible chin which was found out twice
