I'm not defending Floyd's decision to fight Marquez. Just stating the facts.

And the FACT is, however bad of a decision it was for Floyd to fight Marquez, Pacqiuao's decision to fight Mosley is WAY worse.

Mosley is a *40* year OLD man who hasn't won a fight in TWO years.

Maybe Pacquiao will fight Pernell Whitaker next?

In terms of danger level, Mosley is definitely more dangerous to Pac than JMM was to PBF. PBF was never in danger going in and during the fight.

As in regards to to boxing fans - does it really matter? Both are not desirable fights.

I am not defending his point of view about Pac/JMM/etc. but yeah, a lot of your response are childish and nonsensical.

Hey I'm with you but tell that to Bert Sugar and Freddie Roach. They both said that Mayweather would have problems with Marquez. Bert Sugar dumb ass even said the fight was a toss up.

Trying to defend Pacquaio Mosley because Mosley has "a puncher's chance" is childish and nonsensical...

Your logic is sort of flawed. Mayweather was a blown up light welter that fought Oscar at 154 pounds. He moved up to welter because their were no fights at light welter. I see what your saying though and I might even agree with it. IMO it was a bad fight for both but people actually thought Marquez stood a chance against Floyd. No one thinks Mosley has a chance against Pac.

    Seriously pitiful mate. :-(

Roy Jones is shot. He went from being untouchable to getting knocked out by fighters he would've creamed in his prime (Tarver, G.Johnson), then to being humiliated by more fighters he would've creamed in his prime (Calzaghe, Green).

By contrast, Shane Mosley has not shown anywhere near this level of decline. He is not a shot fighter. If he is now, then he was 8 months ago when he fought Floyd as well, because nothing has happened within such a short period of time to indicate that Mosley has declined further. Mosley's last 2 fights have been a comprehensive defeat by the p4p#2 (no surprise or shame there) and a draw in a fight he deserved to win against a much bigger middleweight spoiler. Is Shane Mosley years past his prime? Oh yes. Prime Mosley obliterates Mora. But has he begun to lose badly to lesser fighters and/or get stopped and/or get humiliated?? No. This is inarguable.

Juan Manuel Marquez is a natural featherweight who had 2 fights at lightweight when Floyd Mayweather made him jump a further 2 divisions, then remained at his optimum fighting weight (146) rather than try to make his proposed catchweight (144). The fight was a pointless mismatch from day one, the exact same as Pacquiao vs Nate Campbell or Mosley vs Humberto Soto would have been. Marquez dropped back down to a little over 133lbs for his very next fight FFS! Considering the difficulties Marquez has faced with naturally bigger lightweights (Diaz, Katsidis), I wouldn't give him much of a chance (if any at all) at coping with the size and strength of the likes of Cotto and Margarito at 147. In fact, I think he gets beaten by more or less any top welterweight out there.

The current 147lbs Mosley would knock a bloated 142lbs Marquez out. He is a more of a threat in a welterweight fight. :deal

Mosley can't even put together a 3 punch combination anymore, he's so shot. If Mosley had anything left in the tank, Pacquiao wouldn't be fighthing him. This fight is a disgrace to boxing and it's cheating true boxing fans out of their money (not unless they're *******s), and Pacquiao should be ashamed of himself for picking Mosley..... I didn't even see Mosley's last fight but I heard about how bad he looked. He just can't punch anymore, I don't buy his excuses about a stiff neck. That's age bruh, bruh.... Time to retire....

Pacquiao is just looking to pad his stats/record and Mosley is just looking to get paid, while cheating boxing fans.
