The Worse Fight: Mayweather-Marquez or Pacquiao-Mosley?

We will know once the results for both fights are in. Until then these post are just bias opinion. Pac - Mosley turns out to be FOTY then what?

 

So Mayweather wasn't a small welter? Ricky hatton is a career 140 and weighed more than Floyd on fight night. Today Mayweather is a full welter, when he fought De La Hoya he wasn't. Also there were 3 main fights people wanted to see Mayweather fight at the time, Kostya Tszyu, Ricky Hatton, and Miguel Cotto. Kostya retired after being stopped by Ricky Hatton and even before that, he was on Showtime and Mayweather was on HBO. Ricky Hatton said he wasn't ready and Cotto needed to build himself up more at the time.

Mosley would have always struggled with a guy like Mora prime or not but in that fight he looked clearly past it. He couldn't pull the trigger and he missed a lot. The point is you have a guy in JMM who was still ranked in the top 3 P4P on top of his game and on a hot streak fighting another counter puncher coming off a 2 year lay off. Everyone knew PBF wasn't going to KO JMM so it would be a battle of skill.

With Pac-Mosley you have a guy who has looked like **** in his last two isn't ranked anywhere near the top 20 on P4P lists and is 40 years old. This isn't the Mosley who was the top ranked WW of the time when PBF fought him this isn't the Mosley that came off one of the best performances of this era. This isn't the Mosley who was P4P #3 or #4 Pac wouldn't fight that Mosley remember?:deal He turned him down to fight the guy who Mosley raped. But now all of a sudden he wants to fight Shane after he's looked vunurable, terrible ****ing fight.

 

Marquez - Mayweather. A TOTAL joke of a fight.

Pac - Mosley is a live fight, at Mosley's natural weight. Mosely lost against the best defensive fighter in the world, that's no shame in that.

 

And yours is even worse. Anyone who followed Clottey's career knew he had no shot in that fight and you're fooling yourself if you say he did.

First Clottey melts down when he steps up in class we've seen it over and over. Second Clottey isn't a KO puncher he wasn't going to get a decision over Pac and he wasn't going to KO him either. Third he didn't even have a trainer for the fight it was a set up, he had no chance and was beat before the bell even rang and you fell for it hook line and sinker.:-( You're the typical uneducated boxing fan who can't read between the lines and buys everything that snake Arum is selling you. You bought the fact that Clottey was much bigger that he woud simply bully the smaller Pac despite having a **** workrate, horrible movement and less than average power and you actually gave him a good chance of beating Pac based on this.:rofl You don't know **** about boxing or how to analysis styles or the camps, Clottey was tailor made for Pac it was showcase fight Clottey was a heavy bag. Clottey was brought in to make Pac look good in this so called David vs Goliath match up just like Arum did with Margo and he's doing it again with Shane. Don't get mad at me because I can see past that **** Arum is trying to pull. Wise up.:deal

 

Mayweather coming off 18months away and fighting the #2 pound for pound fighter in the world who looked great in his last 5 fights and completely dominating the guy that gave Manny his toughest fights. pretty good fighter for a tune up.

or Pac fighting another Mayweather leftover that Mayweather already beat with ease.



A lotta people though Marquez would do well against Mayweather whereas almost everyone is predicting Pac to easily beat Mosley and the odds were much closer in the Mayweather vs Marquez fight than the 9-1 odds for Pac vs Mosley.

 

Floyd didn't make Marquez move up in weight ,if anyone can remember it was Juan who called Mayweather out ....does anyone remember hello out there!!!atsch

Pac is fighting the guy who Mayweather just beat 11 rounds to 1

Mayweather was coming off a layoff
Pac is the current and active P4P Champ


On paper it appears Mayweather/Marquez was a farce....but looking a tad deeper, it is clear that it was a more legitimate fight. :yep
