So it looks increasingly likely that this fight will be sooner rather than later. But could this not be put back a couple of years and be a more meaningful fight on the worldstage. When do you wanna see this fight? A domestic unification asap or let it build and simmer into maybe a world unification? Unfortunately, because of all the egos involved and who's ducking who I think this will be announced imminently.

2014 when both are top 10 p4p and have held titles in two weight classes.

 Seriously though, you don't think this could be built into anything bigger than a domestic dust-up?

    Next.

**** waiting - they're the best in Britain and should fight.

There's always time for a rematch down the line if their paths cross again.

defo next fight, restore some pride in the british title, whoever loses can rebuild and hopefully avenge that loss for a world title setting up nicely for a trilogy :good

Calzaghe faced Delaney for the British title. This is the same thing. No reason waiting. Whoever loses, if they're good enough, can come again and possibly fight the winner in the future.

:think You can't be sure if both will reach world title level so if they keep putting it off with the hope it's a bigger fight down the road it might all backfire.

At the moment, they are British and Commonwealth champions. They'll be mandatory for each others belts. It seems the right time. Maybe hold it off towards the end of the year and get a Euro title involved? :think

And anyway, if they both reach the top we can see a rematch at some stage.

The things is I can't see a rematch taking place because right now I think Groves gets schooled badly and due to all the posturing and ego going into the fight it will set him back a long way. Because of this I want the fight to be as big as possible when it happens (which may be right now anyway) and I don't think its easy to come back from a loss whoever loses after all the back and forth they've done basically since they both turned pro.

Exactly - I cant stand all this bull**** about waiting until the fight is bigger. **** that, let's see who is the best now - get the fight made next if you leave it for a couple of years it may never happen

After this Wlad - Haye bull****, perhaps waiting isn't the beat option. Should happen within the next two fights without a doubt

As soon as. Why wait? Chances are one of them won't reach the top at which point the fight is irrelevant. The one that loses now goes back and builds himself up again. If not he has probably found his level.

world 12st titles are tied up with s/6 euro champ fighting bute, who neither of thems ready for, so brit c/wealth or euro, makes no difference, they may as well get it on soon as there ready ie april would be ok.
