Damn good post homie. Full of logic (which you'll see upsets a lot of people on ESB) and the right amount of sarcasm. The whole story sounds like BS to me. No way in hell guys are eagerly lining up for 1on 1 fair fight with Tyson. That's dumb as ****.
The thing is, Tyson wasn't far from his prime while in prison, and none of those inmates were a prime Randy Catoure. Instead of asking about Tysons take down defense, sprawl, etc... someone should be asking if any of those inmates had any grappling training beyond banging fish in the showers. A few things to note... 1. Tyson wasn't a street tough. He's said that he got picked on a lot as a kid. 2. I'm pretty sure Teddy Atlas grabbed Mike's ass in that video clip on page 2 of this thread. 3. Mike was rolling with The Nation of Islam in prison. Chances of them letting him get jumped and beat down is probably zero.
well by figuring him out i guess it means wrestling him...which of course you cant do in a boxing ring (not really at least...although Ruiz sure tried) but tyson would still be much stronger then even a built up thug and much more atheltic...maybe if you where a superheavy college wrestler or top BJJ guy you could do it..but how many of those guys where in prsion?
You forgot Mercer himself is a washed-up, out of shape boxer when he fought sylvia. He was weighing in at 256 lbs!!
Ok..I read this..and decided I just had to google search Randy Coulture and prison...and this is what i found....watch the whole thing..but Randy comes in at 21 seconds. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXVbC5dyG3o[/ame]
Prime Mike would obliterate Couture. Don't let that Couture-Toney UFC propaganda stunt fool you. A shot to **** Toney was no more than a beached whale in there. Unlike that bloated fool who was more bark than bite, Tyson was very well versed in the art of street fighting. Prime Mike was too dynamic, too ferocious and too much of an instinctive beast to lose to such a one-dimensional and predictable grappler like Couture, who also happened to have a chin made of brittle glass.
Just reading the post makes me laugh EB fans are clueless on how American Prisons work, I think you guys watch to many movies
yea i dont know dude..here is the thing..i have boxed very good fighters..not as good as tyson of course..but much better then me...if i went into the fights and said "all i want to do..is get into a clinch with this guy without getting knocked out" I could do it....now if we say that im also a great wrestler...and know some submissions..and the other guy dont know **** about that..well then..the other guy might just be ****ed.
They let Johnny Cash play in prison! Cut Don King loose and he would have promoted a Tyson PPV in there huge!!! Imagine King in there, waving his stupid ****ing flags! Buffer with his trademark 'Let's get ready to rumble' and the inmates kick-off rioting!
Like I said, it would be highly unlikely that this would happen but why is it hard to believe that there could be someone in prison that can fight on the ground? My buddy got locked up and is ex army ranger. Im pretty sure he is not the only person that's been incarcerated with comabat training. Are you saying that heavywieght champ can get locked up but a competant ground fighter can't?
classic response to a classically stupid thread. psychotic or not, there are not many people psychotic enough to start a bare-knuckle fight with a prime Tyson. he connects clean and **** breaks and takes months if not years to recuperate. he connects clean in the right spot and you don't get up...forever.
Criminals are hard, capable men, not to mention mostly stupid and dysfunctional. They also lie like they breathe and the fact you would entertain it as anything other than bs speaks to your stupidity:hi:
