If Floyd was fighting Kelly Pavlik would he be cherry picking now?

yeah it's a horrible fight in my opinion, but possibly entertaining. Bradley, Berto, Martinez and Marquez are all better opponents than Maidana.
Also Pacquiao was with promoter Murad Muhammad from before he first got into the U.S. and he left him around 2005 so I guess it was 2006 when he was with Arum.
Under Muhammad he fought Barrera and Marquez when they were closer to their primes and Morales.
Arum came in right before the third Morales fight then you can see a trend after that fight

It meant more for Floyd to do that in 2007; because, these fighters were at their absolute peaks, and he was coming off big wins against ODLH and Hatton.

Fast forward to 2009-2010 and Pac has fought the NAMES, but, not the VERSIONS of those fighters Floyd is hated on for not fighting (when their names weren't as big as they are now).

Well that shows more what Bob Arum is doing with Pacquaio. All about business. If you want more money leave Bob Arum, and fight opponents fans wants to see.:!:

How much money did Floyd make against Judah?

Hatton, Cotto and Clottey were still highly rated. Margarito and now Mosley, perhaps not. He fought them though, with no clear tougher options.

Berto, Bradley, Alexander, Khan who are still unproven and JMM at 147 wouldn't have been tougher than Mosley or Margarito and generated much less interest and money.

Martinez would have been ideal, but that's unfair on Pac too ask him to fight at 155-156 when he is only comfortable coming in at 144/45 max.

The fact his last 5 fights have done over 5 Million PPV buys in the US would suggest fans weren't too unhappy with them. Well, the fans that matter to most fighters and promoters anyway. The ones that fill their pockets.

Because this is ESB and its not about facts, common sense, and logic. Its about irrational hatred of a person (Mayweather) for no reason, or racial reasons.

Punisher, Pac and DLH basically fought at a "catchweight" 147 since neither was a true WW at that time. Pac was simply testing the waters against a legitimate welter in Cotto since he was coming from 140 (one fight). It does not diminish his win. No way, no how. And Cotto wasn't even weight drained. So please, stop discrediting.

The only reason that fight wasn't at 143 was because Cotto insisted that he could not make that weight. Pac fought ODLH at the 147 lb limit, came in at 148 (fight night weight), and looked outstanding...and that was coming up from 135. There is no reason they needed a C/W for Cotto, except to diminish Cotto in some way. They took 145, because that is all they could get. I didn't say Cotto was drained at 145, I said the C/W was UNNECESSARY. The fact that it was considered a necessity, and later his title (pretty much against his will), at that C/W, diminishes the win in my eyes. You can feel about it how ever you want.
