Na, I don´t rate Vitali really high. He got wobbled by Sanders and and past prime Lewis. He also has less power, is less mobile and not as good defensivly as Wlad. Tyson takes him out quite early.

Wlad will always have those issues, yes, but overcoming does not necessarily mean he doesn´t have them anymore but that he knows how to deal with it. Wlad has a small chance because of his power, good mobility and because of his clinching. Tyson didn´t do much at close range as well, he liked to clinch there and Wlad would be happy to do that and lean on to him. Wlad will try to either stay away of Tyson and keep him at range or to close the gap and clinch. If Wlad cathces Tyson very hard early, I can see Tyson turning in a "Bonecrusher Smith" effort just this time losing a decision. Not very likely though. Perhaps one in ten times.

  3. tyson had attributes of different fighters, explosive and aggressive like dempsey, the skill and style of patterson, the intimidation of liston. ibeabuchi is a garbage honestly.

you can´t see other tyson only in 1 fighter

:bart It's not the hand speed or power alone but the athleticism and explosive combination punching. If you can't see some similarities between Gamboa/Berto and Tyson, then you're just being difficult or possibly overprotective of Tyson's legacy. Who , in your opinion, besides Patterson compares to Tyson stylistically...I mean that is what the thread is about right?

I´m neither difficult nor protective of Tyson´s legacy. Remember, I was often called a Tyson hater on here. But this is not enough to be similar to someone. Tell me, was Ray Leonard similar to Tyson? Because he had the traits you described above. To be similar to another fighter the style must be similar. So, like already said other D´Amato fighters are the only ones who really were similar like Patterson, Torres and Rooney. And Dempsey because he was Tyson´s rolemodel and he tried to be like him. But that´s it.

  8. exactly, and noble, very noble with the kids, i can´t say the same thing about the pitbull that killed several kids in my land.
The presa canario has blood of bardino majorero(from the island fuerteventura), old dogo canario, old pitbull, old english bulldog. An yes, this dog has the morphology of the pitbull but bigger and 40 pounds heavier.

Barnes was that guy who his corner used a metal mask sitting in ice as an enswell. You remember that?
Vinny Paz in his post accident Kevin Rooney super middle days tried to fight like Tyson. He also couldnt crack an egg.

..It's not just me, my small-minded friend. World class trainers and others who know their stuff and who you never heard of believe the same thing.

Your casual dismissal of the psychological element in the ring suggests that you don't know much about the subject of this site.

The definitive, defensively oriented, brawling stylist, Ayub Kalule. One of the best brawlers ever IMO.
