Rigoberto Alvarez, Jorge Solis, Ramon Garcia Hirales, Sammy Gutierrez, Raul Garcia, Abner Mares, Johhny Gonzales and Alfredo Angulo are not World Champions. So Mexico has 10 World Champions very impressive.

Interim Titles and the IBO shouldn't be counted. Though it is true that Mexico has a lot of champions. Unfortunately most people dont care about the lighter weights, where there is some very good fighters.

Interim & IBO doesn't count, that leaves 10 Mexican world champions. And Japan has 7, Uchiyama, Ao, Hasegawa, Nishioka, Li Lee, Kameda and Kameda. But Mexico is solid! Thx God for these fighters!

They are World Champions, cause they won the Interim World Title belts.

But Angulo is being kept away from Sergei, cause politics is stalling Mexican fighters, cause Affirmitive Action is being given to Cotto, Pac, Kirkland, etc.

Abner Marez just won the IBO World Title.
It counts as World Title, as they announced it on

No World Titles are the legitimate holder of a belt, the champion is recognised by all media outlets of the IBF, WBA, WBC, WBO. Interim titles and Fake World Titles do not count for **** anyone with half a brain cell knows that these titles are available to get undeserving contenders listed as "world champions" by paying (drum roll please) a sanctioning fee, nobody considers them or gives them kudos for winning an interim or fake world title against a poor opponent. IBO is not listed by IBHOF as a real world title and Mares did not win that belt as it was not on the line in his fight with Vic. At one time Britain had 18 champs as well but that was all IBO, WBF, WBU but no one was screaming. So let's gets give another one of your **** threads a rest.

An interim championship is a temporary world championship that is awarded in all four major sanctioning bodies of professional

Exactly you idiot none of those interim champions are legit.
And I quote from your definition
WBA Light Middleweight Champion - Miguel Cotto - Not Injured - Last Fight June 10. No need for interim champion.
WBA Super Featherweight Champion - Takashi Uchiyama - Not Injured - Last Fight September 10, May 10. No need for interim champion.
WBO Light Flyweight Champion - Giovani Segura - Not Injured - Last Fight November 10 and before that August 10. No need for interim Champion.
WBA Minimumweight Champion - Kwanthai Sithmorseng - Not Injured - Last Fight November 10 for a vacant World Title one month after Gutierrez won the interim title. Either way no need for an interim champion as the former champion Roman Gonzalez was active.
WBO Minimumweight Champion - Donnie Nietes - Not Injured - Last Fight August 10 - No need for an interim title.

Jhonny Gonzalez and Abner Mares do not hold a recognised world title. And Angulo who actually held a legitimate interim title has since vacated that title so he is not a "champion" by your definition.
