Pascal WILL fight whoever the WBC wants him to fight. Period. Why would he fight Dawson anyway? The rematch with B-Hop is more lucrative, he can avenge his bad performance and he keeps is WBC belt by doing so (let alone winning the WBC ''Diamond belt'').
You're right on the spot I think. But Pascal clearly said in french that he wanted to fight Hopkins and that even tho if he was really sad after the fight. He feels that, he needs to clear this out. It didn't happen alot in the history, a guy who's stock with two pound per pounds like that several fights in a row lol. The winner of all this story would be Pascal's ball. I wish him the best.
If it wasn't for the clash head that stop the fight in the 11th round, Dawson would won that fight by ko cause he had Pascal badly hurt before the fight was stop.

Shaw's contract >>> WBC Pascal will have to can the WBC belt and face Dawson or Shaw will sue for breach of contract. End of. The only out is Dawson agreeing to step aside, or HBO not ponying up the cash for Dawson/Pascal (as per Shaw's contract).
