Dempsey-Willard ranks for me as the worst ass beating I've seen in a single round.

Now that was more along the lines of my thinking....

A long domination. Not where a guy gets caught and capitalized on... Just gets his ass beaten... Vitali has issued several of those- namely Arreola and Briggs.

I say Holmes-Cobb. That was pretty merciless and one-sided.

John L. Gardner vs Michael Dokes. Both were undefeated I believe and Gardner was a tough guy, but Dokes hand speed and natural ability gave Gardner one of the worst beatings I remember.

    These are all good.

For some people on here (not including me) Tyson vs. Spinks
    Dempsey vs. Willard
    Does Lewis vs. Ruddock count?
    Sanders vs. W Klitschko

I originally thought you meant guys getting beatdown in losing their championship. :?

    In that case...

    Tyson-Frazier was ferocious and swift.

Ali- Terrell was a beating. with Ali constantly taunting Terrell.
Weaver took a pounding from Tate, yet still found a way to comeback & win!
Both Ali & Frazier in Manila, never seen such damage inflicted, on both sides! a savage battle!
