This is ******ed! You have more than one "world" champion in a given weight class! How ****ing meaningless is that! These ABC belts don't mean a thing anyway; only the Ring magazine belts have any actual validity.

Why not just start a thread saying "I'm mexican and I want to start a thread building up mexico" and not go through all of this foolishness?

Great stuff, they produce a lot of great tough boxers, and they just seem to want to fight the best etc... and put on a great show.

Can anyone list the U.S. champions? The seven mentioned by Azteca?

    Off hand, I can name

    1) Devon Alexander
    2) Timothy Bradley
    3) Bernard Hopkins
    4) Andre Berto

    Who are the other 3?

Im sorry but you've contradicted yourself their, the IBO Champion isn't classed as a TRUE world Champion. Just check your own source...

Pacman just beat the most active, fleet footed and precise Mexican fighter in History. Mosley also beat him.

    Pac #1 ATG
    Mosley #2
    Mayweather #3
    Margarito #4

Quality over quantity douche, always quality over quantity.

Floyd alone wipes that competition away. And he isn't even technically a champion.

    And I'm not even a *****.

That being said, Mexico has indeed produced quality fighters on the lower weights.
But the statistics that's been posted here is blown up too much.

    IBO? Interim champs? C'mon.
