Are some people seriously rating Floyd Mayweather as the best WW ever?

    :lol: Think I'm bahhumbuggin', huh? Nah, not my style, brother. But when you're factoring in the likes of SRR, SRL, Hearns, Armstrong, Gavilan, Benitez, Ross, McLarnin, Basilio, Walker, Ryan, Rodriguez, Napoles, Griffith, Whitaker, Duran ...It's a massively rich division. Like most eras, we've got some fine fighters, but come on. Our two best may be fighting at welter but they don't have enough done or enough that seemingly can or will be done to put them with those guys.

    Had Floyd pro boxed during the 80's. He'll have a hard time getting ranked 4th in WW.

    There was one idiot here that claimed Floyd's win over Judah alone overlaps everything Pacman has accomplished abover 140lbs.

    10-20 years from now Floyd's ATG rating is going to skyrocket because many are going to believe he's one of the top 3 H2H fighters just cause hes a defensive fighter and still has that 0 but most are going to laugh their ass off when they see what kind of legacy he built himself up.

    I can't even take this thread seriously, it's got to be a wind-up. If someone puts Floyd #1 all time at Welterweight they don't need to get called out on ESB. They need to be committed :lol:.

    Nobody's ever seriously put him #1 on here......have they? :think

    Well theres only a handful we can work with here...

    2005 Sharmba Mitchell- bum, tuneup
    2006 Zab Judah- Decent fighter, but other than floyd, he has lost to Zoo, Baldomir, Cotto and Clottey, pretty self explanatory.
    2006 Carlos Baldomir- Lineal champion, but a rather weak one
    2007 Ricky Hatton- Good win. Above optimal fight weight, but still good.
    2009 Juan Manuel Marquez- Really? This guy had no business fighting at this weight.
    2010 Shane Mosley- Motivated fighter who is unable to pull the trigger anymore.
