More or less means bollocks. Until the fight is signed anything is fair game. FACT.

Haye had an agreement to fight Vitali before and that didn't stop him from taking on someone else.

Here is Adam Booth saying how they really prefer Vitali and consider him the more "legitimate" champ because he holds the more "significant WBC belt"

Ironically Booth said this in response to Wlad's challenge to Haye in April 2010

Why not replace the chuckling faces with little animated flaming torches and pitch-forks...

I'd love to see Haye-Vitali. It's definitely going to be action packed, because Vitali doesn't stand around waiting for something to happen.

No, laughing is the more appropriate response to the heavyweight career of David Haye.

It would be interesting to see what happened if a fighter young enough to then fight Wlad smashed Vitali up - I think the only logical conclusion is that it would end Wlad's career too. Actually, that's a fact, it's incontrovertible in the eyes of any realistic observer - He's very mentally weak and I think that's why he's gone for a couple of powder puff punchers this year.

To that end, I would be seriously considering a Vitali fight if I were Haye. We know for a fact that Wlad is terrified of fighting anyone with speed and power and we know that Wlad would be devastated into a fearful retirement if someone rendered Vitali horizontal. The question now is whether Haye believes he can beat Vitali or not, and hopefully that will be answered soon.

Cos Vitali's being in negotiations with Solis all the way through this. They've come to an agreement I think and fight should be announced tomorrow.

Remember at the WBC convention when Vitali asked for an optional defence before fighting Solis and Suliman got all emotional and 'resigned'

Backing David Haye in this forum is an exercise in futility, so many anti Haye threads and posters. Granted he did run his mouth when he stepped up but that was in order to cause a commotion in the division and get himself the bigger fights early, which he did in a winning title bid against Valuev. The Audley fiasco was nothing more than a payday which anyone who watches boxing see coming from a mile off, fair play to them both for making a quick buck from the Daily Star and Sun readers.

    - Has either Klitschko made any attempt to shed some light on the negotiations?
    - He has fought and beaten 2 opponents that neither brother wanted any part of
    - Also if the rumours are to be believed, how comes Wlad has agreed in principle to a fight with Adamek in September if he wants Haye so badly?
    - It looks as though Vitali is set to announce a fight with Solis, even still nothing has been said by Vitali since Wlad announced his fight.
