price, or i should say his team wont risk him, no point even asking about it, everybody criticises fury, but hes the only one of the so called prospects who'll fight.
considering fury decked price as a 18yr ols ameature and price was a seasoned england no1 true price held on and got the win i believe fury has improved were price has stayed still pro game fury wins imo would love price to bash him up as hes a nice fella and a local lad but he needs fights against tough fringe fighters and has to take some risks coz its wide open the hw division he must improve his jab and use his height 6 foot 7 but he totally uses it against himself by leaning in and in turn losing power from not using distance if he had top trainer and promoter from day 1 he would have beat fury by now but now hes another frustrating case
Fun little fight. I think Fury would stop him late, he'd take Price's punches much better then Dave would take his.
karl2007 made a good point, Price does not use his dimensions and jab very well. He does fall in. So does Tyson Fury (though he improved this last fight), but that suits Fury in this fight. Price might be more naturally talented but falling in and engaging neutralizes that, and we all know the whispers about his chin. Tyson also has greater confidence and belief and thats important. It means he's more likely, and more proven to dig in when he's in a tough battle.
I have seen price drop fury in sparring an is a lot better an a much much bigger puncher having seen the fight an every spar they have had price wins easy IMO I think the score in the fight was 22/7 a wide margin
i think that price would box his way to a sd but could easily win by ud. the only thing letting price down has been his **** opposition but he has all the attributes to reach a minimum of euro level. i like fury but i think his technical flaws will become a big issue unless he sorts them out now.
think fury likes goading future opponent with his trash talking. pointing out there weaknesses maybe helps his own self belief on being able to beat them.
I think its weird how malony who has had price under his wing for about 18 months and has only fed him rubbish now wants him to fight all the other top britsh prospects! You can gage in this country how confident a promoter/team is about a heavyweight by when the stick them in with the best journey man who it seems every heavyweight seems to fight, that is Daniil Peret. It took price over a year from turning professional and five fights before he took him on. Where as they stuck tyson in with him after turning professional after 2 month and it was his 3rd fight. Price must have gone to malony and told him to stop getting him fat european taxi drivers and get him in with some one credible, cos he is getting left behind. We all know price is chinny, it not just a rumour. I bumped in to tyson last year whilst out shopping on a saturday and i asked him if he has seen price fight the night before, he said he did'nt, I said it was a joke of a fight and the lad fell over after 30 second from a ghost punch. Tyson said they won't put him in with anyone half decent cos he is chinny. It OK saying price is the better boxer, but he has fought rubbish and any propect would look good beating them, the best he has fought is Peret and he could'nt get rid of him, where tyson did in 2 rounds. I hope they do fight, cos IMO tyson would just bully him around. Price is just another Harrison, a good boxer when wearing head guards with padded gloves, but as soon as the going gets tough or he'll need to dig deep, he'll just fold and get stopped or KO'd.
Price suffered from inactivity after the Setanta collapse (he was with Hayemaker) so it's no surprise that they fed him lemmings at that point. Plus, he fought Peret while ill, so dont take too much from that performance. And, I may be remembering this wrong, but wasnt that supposed to be a twelve rounder but was reduced to a six because of the illness? Shows a bit of heart doesnt it? Rather than just cancelling the fight? I may have mixed that up though so dont take that as gospel That's still a rumour mate, just cos Fury says it, doesnt make it so. All we can go on is what we've seen and the only time (to my recollection) that Price's been caught is when he dropped him gummy on his debut and gave Ingleby a free shot. He withstood that one well enough. Oh, and Ingleby's not a bad debut by anyone's standards. I've not seen the fights he's been dropped in the am's but I remember him getting in trouble against the Italian in the olympics and again (unless my memory is playing tricks, he didnt go down? I hate this kind of talk for a fight prediction. We do not know how a boxer will react to deep water until he's in them. Price seems to have a resilient character so I'd be surprised if he lacked heart. But I'm speculating as much as you are. Again, we can only go off what we've seen. And while Price has a lot of work to do to polish his game, Fury has much more to do. Price would school him.
Why is price chinny he has only ever been stopped on his feet never koed an at that weight an the level an am out of fights he has had I think that is good
