Haye and Booth have made it pretty clear they're not interested in Vitali. When Wladimir was back in November training for Chisora, Boente said to Booth....."Look, Wladimir's busy with a fight. But we have Vitali here, ready and waiting."

Booth's response was "erm....you see the thing is, we, erm....we're not interested in Vitali at the moment. We want Wladimir because he called us bitches."

(Not word for word, but that's pretty much how it went)

No, of course not, I agree. At this point Haye should just sign to challenge Klitschko. He'll sort out Chagaev one way or another.

Wlad could've fought Haye in April. He chose not to. He chose to fight Chisora instead. That is why the Wlad vs Haye fight is not signed right now. End of story.

No. Sky turned down the Haye PPV for the Khan tune-up. Next date good for both Sky and RTL was July, Wlad said ok, I'll fight Chisora in the meantime no problem.

    This is hilarious, isn't it:

Why can't Haye pay Chagaev a step-aside fee? Has this been discussed between the two camps at all? Has Chagaev's camp decline the offer if one was made?

Why didn't Haye fight Chagaev last November, instead he brought us the Harrison farce, one of the worst and most disgusting HW fights in boxing history.

And how much money will the "smart businessman" make against Chagaev. Will the PPV sell at all, considering that Chagaev is completely unknown in the UK, speaks no English whatsoever and doesn't really offer much of a trashtalking target for Haye (unlike caveman Valuev). Haye left a sour taste with the Harrison mismatch, will people be dumb enough to shell out another 14.95 quid for another complete mismatch?

I'd love to see the answers :deal:deal:deal

Dude, Wlad wanted Haye in April. That was the date he was hoping for. But SkySports said....."Sorry Wlad, we've reserved our April PPV slot for Amir. We can't be having more than one PPV in that month. The only other date we have which RTL can also accomodate, is July 2nd".

Which made Wladimir then think "July?! ****, that's miles away. I'll be 10 months out of the ring by then. Ah well, I guess I could take on Chisora in April to keep busy. And I'll meet David on July 2nd"

Then Haye's like "He's having a keep-busy fight with Chisora? ****, man! That might push my meeting with him further back. I can't be sitting out for that long, and I can't be bothered having a tune-up fight of my own because it won't bring me that much money. I've got my retirement-plan I need to keep with.....

SKY turned down the fight, then WLAD turned down the fight. HAYE did not turn the fight down this time.

  9. You could have just posted this in one of the 155 other Wlad-Haye threads lol

Why don't you read the news first before you comment?

Wlad - Haye coudln't happen in April because Haye's TV station SKY gave Khan a PPV date in April already and they were unwilling to move the Khan date (although Khan doesn't even have an opponent yet) and basically told Haye there's no date in April for Wlad-Haye.

He'll fight Haye on July 2, he said so. And why not earn a few million bucks in the meantime? Because Haye has mandatory issues? Sorry, not his problem. Haye should sort it out by paying Chagaev off, fighting off-PPV or whatever does it take, and the fight goes on for July. Not Wlad's problem, he'll be ready for July.

In my opinion, they are not going to maximize the revenue (like they want to) by promoting a bout of this size in 8 weeks, especially when a training camp has to be fitted in aswell.
