Tough decision for Pascal Looks like WBC light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal is between the proverbial rock and a hard place. Pascal, who already has a contractual obligation to face Chad Dawson next, has been ordered by the WBC to grant an immediate rematch to Bernard Hopkins with the camps to commence negotiations immediately. So unless some arrangement is made, Pascal would likely be sued by the Dawson camp for fighting Hopkins, or stripped by the WBC for fighting Dawson. IMO he should take the WBC to court over this because they are being silly here - they know their champion cant win either way in the situation THEY have put him in. Hopkins WAS A NON MANDATORY defence right? So why are they doing this now? Something smells bad here....some Hopkins loving goin down here sounds like to me. Why cant Hopkins wait 1 fight - his shot that he was given was a gift anyway.
who gives a **** about the WBC Pascal beats Dawson again, then beats Hopkins again if Hopkins is still game. Pascal is the universally recognized champ. Hopkins can go get his record against some bum appointed by Jose Schaefer-Suleiman, but we know what's what. take note that this is in no way a diss to Hopkins, who is a legend and who put up a valliant effort against Pascal

yea easier said than done though he could have fought some bum with a padded record and he wouldn't be in this mess either. I guess he would get more props from boxing fans if he had done that.
