i had it about the same with one round that could have gone either way. if this was a bigger fight i think we all would be crying robbery.

8 rounds to Herrera is ridiculous.

Judges have been rendering more and more ridiculous decisions as of late it seems

American is the most ****ed up place for foriegn fighters to go. Worse than Germany, Canada, England or Australia.

    Has been for years.

I thought it was close...a draw, but more in Herra's favor.

I like Provodnikov and wish him well, but I have no problem with the decision. I had it 115-113 Herrera, and a draw or even 115-113 Ruslan would've been acceptable but I think Herrera deserved the decision. sure, his face got bashed up but since when do we decide winners by post-fight appearances?

A clip of Provodnikov getting punched in the face just opened up SportsCenter (as part of the HL package)!

I wonder if they'll actually talk about it. :think

They generally ignore all but the biggest names in the sport, so it would be a shock.

It was definitely in that neighborhood (close, whoever won) but it just didn't seem to me like there were more rounds where Herrera's volume outweighed Provodnikov's heavy hitting.

I can understand people being a bit incredulous with the decision, but I'm not sure about hopping on the robbery train. After all, giving Herrera the 12th (which he did seem to earn) made it 115-113 Provodnikov on my card...a single round's swing away from being a draw. :think
