is N.O xplode and all those other energy workout supplements worthing buying? i've tried the stuff before made me feel amped up(could have just been a mental thing tho), worked pretty well but i was unsure if it was technically legal for amateur boxing? i know its not a steroid(contains creatine and tons of other chemicals), but is it lets say frowned upon to use that stuff? Lets say if im feeling mentally sluggish after a hard days work( i do heavy lifting in construction), would it be better to take that stuff and squeeze in a work out or just rest?

I wouldn't use that **** for boxing. For lifting, I've heard it's awesome. I took some once befopre a PFT and it's the only time I've ever thrown up from running. My time was much slower than usual as well.

Basically, boxing is more cardio-oriented. You really don't need your muscles to be all pumped up for boxing. Hell, my muscles are never sore after a boxing workout...

Creatine would help though, for those long bag sessions.

I take N.O before i go to my gym. I haven't noticed it affecting my cardio any better/worse than not taking it. I'm more conscious of what I eat throughout the day and what i eat before i go to work out than anything else but it seems to help me since I'm never really as sore compared to days when I don't. So basically, cardio is unaffected and i'm never really painfully sore. That's just me though. Try it out and see how you feel I guess.

    Black Powder is dire.

Nox pump (by Dorian Yates) is THE no.1 supp in that field on the market, no question.

You know that scene in scarface where tony whacks his head into that mountain of sniff? You'll feel exactly like he does after a sachet of that.

    Totally unreal stuff.

Taste's vile and looks vile, but my word does it do the trick!

I've heard that any NO product is kind of a waste of money and that it doesn't do anything. After seeing what people are writing on here though I might have to sample some just to see if it really works.

If you weren't slacking off during various high rep punch out drills(with 10 - 15 sec break in between) that your coach made you do, 'NO Explode' or other supps of such would have made you sick instead... trust me - It's already bad enough you're pushing yourself to the extreme, you don't need that to overwork your heart.

I was using this a few months ago.

It definitely helps when your pushing weights, give you that edge. Whether it is more a placebo effect or not .. I can't really say. But I didn't use it every day just 2-3 times a week when I was doing weights. My body didn't become dependent on it to work out, but the intensity of the effects did drop a bit.

In terms of cardio, i've read that it can give you diarrhea n stomach problems. Personally I've only experienced a couple of times were i got a stomach ache when I used it before cardio/Muay thai.

But to each their own, it affects each individual differently. I've tried Jack3d, purple wrath, NO ... Purple did nothing for me, Jack3d was the best. Some ppl say its a waste of money, some swear by it, so just sample it urself.

Purple Wrath is more of a BCAA supp and has no immediate effect on performance.

Code Red and 1 M.R. are the ****ing granpappy's of pre workout supps. I look like ****ing Spider-Man jumping around on that stuff.

Powerpuncher is a guru at supps. Ask him.
