Oh it's going to happen. Two of the best looking propsects out there, both going to campaign at 154 soon with Golden boy. How do you compare them as prospects? Who do you think would win if they fought now, and in a couple years? Canelo has fought better competition so far and is younger. I believe Lara is faster while Canelo has better power. Damn two big time prospects it would be nice to see them fight in 2 years while they are 154 champions and in their primes

Saul Alvarez is too flat footed. As soon as he meets someone with world class movement we'll see how he gets on.

Since they both are so good they will never fight. Isn't that becoming the norm is boxing nowadays?

Lara is as good as he will EVER be at this moment...
    Alvarez is still a "?"

Golden Boy would make a stupid business move matching them as prospects.
IMO, They should push Lara ASAP, Get him the title shot/run then let him build.
    (If he can?)

Then go from there, But nah they will not meet anytime soon.
Unfortunately Erislandy don't bring much to the table for GBP to risk against their star.
Like I said, Maybe get Lara's name out there HBO/Showtime ect... get him a belt.

Lara won't be the star Canelo is, but I don't see why he can't reach the level of Casamayor at least. GBP needs to put Lara on HBO or Showtime. Dude is legit and could be a champ. ALthough his competition is weak, not fighting the same guys Canelo is

I f he reachs Casamayor level it will b a heck of an accomplish, Casamayor in his prime was avoided like the Peste, was only on his way down that he got some meaningful fights, and he was a Champ at 130-135lbs.
