Holyfield: Mayweather-Pacquiao, Neither is Number One

Does he mean he cant pick a winner between the two? Or is the old man implying that there are better P4P fighters out there?

Probably the former... so all in all it's a reasonable judgement from the real deal.

 

So is he saying they are 2 and 2a, or 1a and 1b?

 

He's implying that he is P4P #1 and that they are #2/3

 

I interpreted it that he believes "the best" is vacant as neither have faced the other contenders for the best mantle - so how are you the best if you're not even facing the top fighters? Holyfield didn't duck anybody so respect to his comment if that's what he means.

The only other logical explanation is he believes Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen is number #1.

holyfield has the point but he must agree that one of them is the best when the other one is willing to fight and the other one is willing to beat helpless woman and fat ass guard and who's willing to go in prison than to fight the other.:deal

 

One of them is afraid to do full random testing as well. Tyson asked Holyfield to do additional testing (pre-fight) before their second fight and Holyfield did it. I don't care for the lies. Manny said he would do full random testing yet his Team said that "We pretty much agreed to the testing , just not within 7 days." The request was for full random. People can say Manny is the best but please tell me why the majority of boxers, trainers, and even writers who hate on Floyd pick him to out box Manny?

 

Think he means none of these two deserve to be number 1 when they won't even face each other.

 

Holyfield is simply saying that until they fight neither can say they are number 1. Manny has done great over the years but so has Floyd. Floyd retired #1p4p and came back and beat the #2, and #3 p4p fighters including the LINEAL WELTERWEIGHT champ Mosley. We can blame Floyd for the fight not happening in November but we must also blame Manny for the fight not happening back in March bc he was the one who walked then.

 

yeah. we have two top guys at the moment who have a chance to fight but haven't yet. there is no better way to know who is the best until they face each other. the biggest reason as to why this fight hasn't been made yet is arum.

 

ok so much for the blame game now, the past year was over, now call floyd and ask him to contact team pacquiao that he's ready to fight now and vacation is over, im sure manny will have all the tests he will ask. the problem with floyd fans was that you're willing to die defending him, while he's not worthy of your loyalty. he dont give you the fight that all of us are waiting, he'll do all crazy things just to avoid the pac fight. team floyds issue is about pac on peds but his the one (all the people n their right mind think) whos on drugs. you dont see the side effects man? or you're just blinded for your luv of him lol. he's possitive:deal

 

Listen kid. Manny can say what he want but he needs to tell Koncz and Arum to send the contract with Full Random OSDT bc that is what Floyd himself said is holding up the fight. Manny can say all he wants but his Team are the ones saying **** differently. For example this is what Khan said in an interview recently:

“I said ‘Manny, when are you going to fi ght Floyd Mayweather?’ He said ‘He don’t want to fi ght me’. I joked ‘Get off them drugs then’ and he replied ‘Amir, I will never take a drug in my life, but when he is demanding tests every day it’s mental and I’m not ready for that’. :nono

 

I agree with you about Arum. People seem to forget that he said that "If Floyd signed with Don King it will be great bc Don and I can lock ourselves in a room and have this fight made in one weekend." Thats what Arum said and he doesn't want to work with Golden Boy. He didn't even want to work with Golden Boy when he had Floyd and Floyd wanted to fight Oscar.

 

Mayweather says take the test(with no cut off dates) or no fight, plain and simple. Once the PacvsMosley fight flops, Pacquaio will submit with no cut off dates. Both are number #1 IMO, one will fall to number 2 once the fight happens. Late this year.
