terrible attitude... its not like ricky burns picks his opponents, a couldnt care less who he fights as long as he makes some money out of the sport. boxing can/is a short career that is not well paid compared to other sports C'MON RICKY!!:bbb
well there was talk of appleby fighting burns had he defeated laryea, so why not , laryea is no mug, he beat appleby well, so he deserves the chance better than him.
Appleby didn't deserve the fight regardless of the result against Laryea. I wouldn't mind him as an opponent for Liam Walsh, but it's an appaling choice for Burns. The first easy defence was pretty typical..... but he was a smaller man and couldn't punch. Throwing him in with more stiffs won't help him.
Seriously have a day off. The pygmy was bad enough this is pathetic. And Appleby really? The man was splattered by Lindsay have we've since seen how that worked out.
