Not heard too much from them lately. Anyone know if they have anything lined up? Would be great if they could get Bradley - Alexander at the end of the month.
I personally think the channel is dire, not enough boxing being aired to justify yet another subscription. If only there was a channel that picked up the top rank and golden boy tv deals and just aired every fight and asked for a monthly sub.
they have gone quiet but they promised 1 big card a month and aint failed us yet, if sky dont pick up the bradley alexander fight i expect premier to :good
Same here. Was planning on doing it before they announced the FNF deal so if they haven't got that I probably will.
I thought the sky website showed upcoming fights which are not necessarily shown on the channel. I don't really care who picks it up, so long as some1 does

They announce that they have the rights to fnf then when they haven't got it the just hide away and don't say anything. Pissed me right off. Left them messages on fbook that they just ignore.
Setanta was great wasn't it. I'll maintain right now that it will be a long, long time before we see a channel which has the amount of boxing coverage they had. Apart from domestic level boxing and Ricky Hatton, they had all the fights from the US, some from around Europe (Klitschko's) and most of the (at the time) UK world champions (Calzaghe, Haye, Enzo Mac, Rees, Arthur, Woods etc). They were set to get Khan but Sky outbid them and no doubt they'd have got Froch too but when Froch won a world title the warning signs were already there for Setanta and by the time he fought Jermain Taylor they just couldn't afford it. And they had the weekly boxing hour with Andy Kerr and Steve Bunce. Add to the fact they had Premiership and Blue Square football, cricket, UFC, etc for £12.99 a month it was a steal. I miss Setanta so much. :'(
