It was Adam Smith who decided that Haye vs Wlad on April 30th was a bad idea and favoured Khan vs Peterson instead.

outrageous thread as you have provided no source, you can seriously cause some **** by saying this...

personally i am calling massive b.s, khan v peterson is an affair that makes absolutely no sense whereas haye v wlad is an heavyweight event that will define both careers and will help to hopefully revive and generate interest in boxing...

I seriously doubt that Adam Smith has that sort of power within sky to make that sort of decision. Give his opinion sure but not make the final call

It was Smokey Robinson who shot John F Kennedy.

Adam Smith is head of boxing and agreed to making Khan vs Peterson instead of Wlad vs Haye for Sky box Office in April

He was a clown and a disgrace to boxing before this, and this only enhances that view.

    Why?

I'm not the biggest Smith fan but fully support (if this is actually the case) the notion of pressing ahead with the Khan PPV ahead of a speculative Haye vs Wlad showdown with plenty of time for pullouts.

They'd already promised Khan the date and as such should honour it..... all I hope is that they ensure that there's a decent undercard - anything can be better than the two **** poor shows Hayemaker have put on in the past year.

Plus he needs to serve a pennance for the Harrison disgrace, though he isn't the only party that should shoulder blame. Haye, Sky and the board should accept their share of responsibility for that farce.
