another uninteresting fight with Haye involved.

****, I'd rather Haye fight Travis Walker than Meehan at this point.

yeah, thank **** for that, I mean as boxing fans we'd all have a really good reason to be pissed off about the most interesting fight in the division and the unification of two of the major titles not happening if Wlad was only going to make a SMALL fortune.

It needs sorting out.Guys like this Meehan,Audley and Chisora should not be getting title fights.
I understand all 3 champs want to make as much cash as poss in a unification fight but they are starting to make the whole sport look stupid with these mismatch fights.
I still cant believe Chisora is getting a shot. The guy is nowhere near ready,he should be building up his record at domestic level not been thrown in as cannon fodder for Wlad.

Yeah meehan was garbage back in the day and now he is contender material again.

What got me was Briggs was coming up as being one of the top 5 guys and I mean he got a lucky decision to 47 year old Foreman a ****ing decade ago in his prime and now ten years older he is considered one of the best today

The choice of opponents is consistent with Haye's HW campaign as a whole. I'm just shocked he was able to find a potential opponent this quickly. I would have expected at least 3 conferences, 2 open letters and 6 months worth of bitching on his twitter account about how life is unfair for the Saviour of the HW division.

    u don't watch fights do u?

considering meehan beat the crap out of brewster when brewster had just knocked wlad on his ass, i think it is fair to say u r wrong.

So what. There hasn't been a real world champion since Lennox Lewis retired.

haye barely beat valuev. the same valuev who should have lost to 47yo evander holyfield.

haye would have been put in a coma if he fought a decent fighter like lennox lewis.

    a) that is a kinda weird thing to do if you weren't planning on going.

    b) for an event that large; ticket "on sales" will be staggered as standard so the "available" tickets does not necessarily equal total unsold tickets.

    c) tickets for events like that are allocated to different ticketing agencies & suppliers (eventim, live nation etc) so you would have been looking at what was left of an allocation that a company had as per their deal with the promoter & not total tickets left across all distributers...& that is before factoring in agencies that essentially work as touts like seetickets...secondary ticketing companies like viagogo...& companies that bulk buy tickets to sell as part of travel packages like thomas cook & so on.

it is very unlikely you could find out how many tickets were sold just by checking a website & seeing what was left. not saying it wasn't sold out...i've heard the rumours but i have no idea if they were true...just pointing out that what you are saying doesn't prove it was sold out... :thumbsup
