Fly accross the sky, while locked in a tight embrace with a naked George Foreman?

jesus, no need to shout bro..i agree, if you had read my posts, that holy always had mikes number...but likewise, i believe a prime..ie the best version of tyson would always have beat the best version of lewis...hey, this forum is all about opinions fella....its well documented that tyson was not his best in the smith fight, indeed, had tyson taken his career more seriously he would have become even more succesful.

.indeed, given his misfortunes with d'amato dying, then having to submit his extraordinary skills to a series of sychopahntic yes men trainers under the svengali like influence of mr only in america king after quareling with rooney, and not being mentally strong enough, nor disciplined enough in his training habits, to avoid the erosion of his skills to the point where he became a lazy, undisciplined fighter reliant on his fast diminishing aura and one punch power , i sometimes think he actually overachieved!!

  10. i did unserstand it but
i hate the typical history of the tyson fans.
tyson was in his prime when he destroyed a bum like berbick, a shot holmes or a lhw in his 30s spinks... when he lost or he could not ko average fighters he was not in his prime or he was in bad shape.. and the fact is , prime tyson never did beat a prime legend, the magic "prime" tyson never was tested against a prime legend(or nearly prime). so i have nothing to prove that he would beat a legend...

I just bought a few of the Tyson-Spinks issues of the Ring from ebay the other day, and a number of journalists, fighters and trainers predicted a Spinks victory. Writers from KO and Boxing 88 as well.

I'm on the fence with that. I believe Holy studied Tyson like a demon and soaked up all the fight film on Mike. It was his mission to fight him at heavyweight. They were destined to eventually fight, but I believe Holyfield was lucky to have fought him in 1996 instead of 90-91. Others posted before that the 90-91 Holy hadn't been "seasoned" enough (Bowe fights) to handle Tyson at that stage.

I too have this issue at home - sadly I'm old enough to have bought it when it came out.

I have read all the arguments on what is and isn`t a "prime" Tyson.

By my reckoning "prime" Tyson was the one who was trained by Kevin Rooney. Therefore in my opinion the Rooney trained Tyson beats any version of Lennox Lewis the same as a Rooney trained Tyson would have finished the job against Buster Douglas as he wouldn`t have had moronic clueless yes men in his corner.

Lewis was a good heavyweight but Tyson was better.
