..........would you sit idle and wait for him til July, hoping/wishing, he'd keep good to his word this time? Sept 2010 to July 2011.......that would be nine months out of Wlad's prime years, waiting on someone who has already pulled out of two previously set fights................... Who's to say Haye would follow through this time............? The best indication of future behavior is past behavior, they say,and Booth and Haye seem to be capable of ANYthing....................BIG risk and a lot of waisted time and other potential income for Wlad.

Or would you take a tuneup in the meantime, and still agree to fight Haye in July?

    Simple question.......

I would sign to fight him, and just in-case Haye were to pull out again...have Chisora on stand-by. Tell him to get fighting fit for July, if Haye pulls through and fights Wlad...throw Chisora in with some bum.

    great post

totally right Wlad is in his mid 30's and exiting his physical prime soon

9 monthes is a long time to wait and waste away

also what if in mid June Haye pulls a stunt and gets out

Wlad waited 9 monthes while coming out of his prime when he could have beaten Chisora and Adamek in that time frame

i see it this way, wlad could have decided after the 1st fight collapsed to walk away.

The problem i have is he made that video basically saying haye is a coward and man up so i can punch the **** out of your face.

Haye says ok and i will agree to all your demands so you can punch the **** out of my face.

wlad i dont trust you, i'm wanting chisora as it personal. go fight someoner else namely my big bro.

wlad left himself so open with that video.

would fight in march and fight in july, with enough time for proper preperation for both fights.

or would get haye to sign a clause in contract where he had to pay a very hefty penalty if did not fight on july 2nd,while keeping myself in shape and fit by sparring top opponents and keeping in shape and ready, but not too much so not to over train.

or just fight in england so the fight would be in may or june.

    This.

I'd also make sure the contract was water tight. If Haye pulls out without written consent from an independent doctor make him liable for a huge sum.

For **** sake. You know he pulled out of the first fight because his TV company went under. He wasn't going to fight for free - that is ******ed. Get a watertight contract in place making Haye liable for a similar amount to the projected revenue of the fight should he pull out and it's sorted. There's no reason for this fight not to be happening.

I'm not condoning Haye giving Wlad the ultimatum, but ultimately Wlad had the choice between fighting British level 14 fight Chisora in April or the richest fight in Heavyweight boxing, the unification fight that EVERYONE wants to see, 8 weeks later. That was his final choice and he chose Chisora, apparently because Haye pulled out instead of fighting him for free 1.5 years ago.

Yeah, I would. I'd use the logic that the first time, he accepted a bull**** deal and only pulled out because he wasn't guaranteed a single penny for three fights. You'd be a ****ing idiot to criticize him for pulling out of that fight.

I'd also use the logic that if a guy has accepted every single thing I asked for, despite him not needing to and it being a perfect time to reject a fight, that he was serious.

If I didn't do that, then I'd consider having a stand by on replacement - Such as Chisora on the undercard, like CHEF mentioned would happen.

Let's not get it mixed up. Wlad has the choice between Chisora or Haye and chose Chisora. Like he has admitted, he doesn't need a tune up, which was the only possible justification for this **** fight.

if i was wlad and haye agreed to ALL terms i would agree to the fight.
why the **** not? are you scareD??

wlad needs to GET OVER haye pulling out last time. hes not gonna fight for free is he!
and he needs to stop ****ing complaining about the vitali pull out. if haye hadnt fought valuev and got the belt, a potential wlad haye fight would not be PPV! and wlad would NOT be getting paid as well. But its clear wlad doesnt care about money. hes just a spineless scared piece of ****

I'd have said "I beat the guy who held the real version of your title, I'm not 40 or deperarte, **** off little man you mean nothing. I beat you and I get slated for being a cruiserweight. Go away and prove you want to fight someone whos live.

and do you know how much that would cost Wlad? $$$$$$$

Chisora would want to be paid to have a camp and be on stand by for Haye... and if Haye did show up and Chisora is out.... he will want $$$

Listen to you... everyones fights is put on hold for David Haye???:nut

    Wlad should wait
Chisora should not take a fight and train and wait to see if haye shows

    its crazy

Simple. Ask Haye to pay it, if he doesn't fight. As Haye accepted every other demand, I can't see why he wouldn't pay another £50,000, when he's already losing out millions by accepting a 50/50 split.

If the Haye/Wlad fight goes ahead, Wlad/Chisora happens next. Considering he's an awful opponent who is in no way deserving of a title shot, Chisora can hardly complain if he has to wait a while.

Besides, looking at how out of shape he is, Chisora could do with an extra training camp or two. Looking at how technically deficient he is, he could do with an extra training camp or thirty.
