    It's not that simple.

If the British board reject Chagaev on medical grounds they won't look too favourably on Haye fighting him elsewhere, and as such may fine him or even revoke his licence.

This fight isn't happening, regardless of the fact that Chagaev has fought since being diagnosed with Hepatitis.

And in fairness, I wouldn't fight someone with history of the disease either.

    December 2010 WBA Ratings Heavy

    Champ: Haye

    1) Chagaev
    2) Boystov
    3) Povetkin
    4) Ustinov
    5) Rahman

So Mormeck is still back at #8...it doesn't look like he'll be the mandatory challenger. Meehan is #9.

    James Toney

I would want that, for the mere trash talk hype/build up :rofl:lol: Haye trying to smack talk with is ever so eloquent British Accent, and James Toney talking smack,(hood) oh that would be so great.

Hell, throw in Chris Arreola, Haye said he was a disgrace to sport. Why not, lets see some fights already.....Haye is so inactive and such a hype job that if it is not against his mandatory, either Klits or a decent guy I can't imagine who would want to be his fan

It is even less simple than that. Universum said that Chagaev is healthy and will pass BBBofC medical tests. If BBBofC does not license Chagaev it will be up to WBA to make a ruling on what happens next. They can pass a bid to Universum so the fight moves to Germany. More likely, Chagaev will get step aside money to avoid an ugly lawsuit in case WBA strips him of mandatory.

Haye's team has released a list of potential opponents,
just in case Chagaev is not approved by the BBBofC.

    Opponent's age is in brackets.

    Here is the list:

    Kali Meehan (40)
    Jean Marc Mormeck (38 )
    Hasim Rahman (38 )

    That is all.

Why is everybody talking like if Chagaev can't fight in England the fights off???
why can't Haye go to Germany or the US? will the WBA let Haye duck Chagaev just because he can't fight in one country??

Im not sure if Haye and Chagaev would sell the tickets there.

Povietkin would be a great opponent.

Good take, but TNT has a granite chin, and a devastating str8.

Haye wouldnt fight him unless the purse was 15 mil, and only the K bros bring that kind of money to the table

Option 1: Arreola - winner can fight Boytsov and winner faces Vitali.

Option 2: Chambers - winner gets in line for Wlad.

Option 3: Povetkin - winner gets in line for Wlad.

Obviously this is assuming Vitali and Wlad both win their next fights.
