Those issues being...that a German stadium wouldn't hold it! So why not fight in Britain, which would be possible? I agree it could have been worked out. When both have retired, if the reason that Wlad hasn't fought Haye is because of the pointless, pathetic Chisora fight, that will hurt Wlad's legacy. Haye is the only guy who can beat Wlad right now and all Wlad had to do was delay the Chisora fight. If they don't meet up later on in their careers, people will forget all the bull**** that has happened and only remember the fact that it could have happened, had Wlad pushed the Chisora fight back. That will hurt Wlad's legacy severely, just like it hurts Dempsey's because he didn't fight Wills. People always remember these things.
Jack just stop man. Wlad is fighting Chisora cause of him being way too inactive and with Haye having a history of pulling out fights. I mean seriously what happens if Wlad didn't fight Chisora but instead fought Haye but then Haye pull out the fight once again? Do you know that Wlad will have the biggest longest layoff? Most of US TV has stopped showing heavyweights, not just Wlad...used to be all kinds of heavyweights on TV, Golota, Bryd, McCline, Ruiz, etc... now they only show the Champs, if that. Wlad & Vitali gets ESPN now, and sometimes a premium channel. HBO was pushing Arreola, even after Vitali demolished him....which was a strange move to me.
Yes, but the guys you just named are american. Aside from Golota who had a huge polish following in this country, just look at how many packed in for the Golota/Brewster fight. I seen the Klits fights on tape delay on ESPN a few times and it sucks. The commentators half the time are not good and the camera angles blow. Not to mention a comercial after every round. I however didn't mind ESPN3's broadcasting, that was a little better I guess. It's damn shame I can't watch a heavyweight title fight on HBO or Showtime, but I guess from a business standpoint they had to do what they had to do. Arreola is a different story. The guy has an exciting fighting style, fun personality, and most of all a huge latino following. All 3 were enough reasons to try and make him HBO poster boy for the heavyweight division.
SKY isnt going bust anytime soon, unlike what happened to Setanta in 2009. Wlad is allowing a Legacy fight to slip away, potentially for good over getting a meaningless tune up in, even if its true to say he will be there July 2nd for a Haye fight anyway, its not ideal build to such a big fight with all the build it will have and deserve, and the other complications it adds for Haye aswell, if Wlad really wants it he would put it aside this once and get it done, its a totally meaningless in the scheme of things. If it doesnt happen this year history will show this as a fight that should have happened and there was not a legit reason for it not happening and on this occasion Wlad is more to blame. He was even getting it in Germany (since he didnt want Vegas or England despite what he said about "anywhere" whereas Haye would have fought him at any of those.

Deep down even the worst Klitschko fanboys know that Wladimir doesnt want to fight David Haye because it will be over in 2 rounds with Wlad on the canvas unconscious. Even when Haye agrees to everything in Klitschko slave contract Wlad backs out. Ya, I realize that. But the way Vitali completely dominated Arreola, made him cry, etc... I think it should have been clear then that Arreola wasn't going to be champ. And yet, HBO still promoted him heavily...maybe it was part of a contract, I don't know..because it didn't make sense to me.
