From a boxing point of view, Peterson is definitely in a different class to Prescott. There's no way Prescott would do as well against Bradley or Ortiz. I saw him against Cuello and he barely looked above that level, it was terrible.

There will be a good amount of hype generated anyway, for Khan's homecoming fight. I don't know how much the public would buy into it either, with Prescott already having been beaten well in the England.

I notice Ortiz has not been mentioned at all as a potential opponent for this fight, They're obviously saving that for a big fight on US soil. I guess if there's a Bradley/Alexander rematch then it's a fight they may look at.

Prescott would be pointless in my eyes - he's not on that level and has done nothing of note since beating Khan. But I suppose from a marketing pov he is a name at least, and there is a back story.

It's still a 100x better than Haye v Harrison, so if hyped properly could probably be a big hit

Oh I no that Peterson would school Prescott but Khan beats them both but the Prescott is more intriguing for me just to see how Khan responds there could be some demons still there getting knocked the **** out in 50 seconds is a big deal and Prescott will be confident.

The public imo would love to see a rematch.

    **** Haye.

Give the deal to Froch instead.

He's a better fighter, his fights are better to watch and he's not a grade A* wanker to boot.

    Plus he'll fight anyone, and doesn't give a ****.

I prefer the Khan-McCloskey fight just because it will get people interested here in a way that Khan-Peterson couldn't. Personally I would have preferred Prescott because there is history there, motivation for Khan and he would gain something from burying the hatchet that is Breidis Prescott. I would have liked to have seen McCloskey take 2 more defences and then take Khan on in an end of year fight.
