Mitchell eyes Murray or Katsidis rematch

Agree - I know Kats is a big LW but Mitchell looked tiny, he should definitely have a crack at getting down to super feather if he can make it without draining himself.

 

Either that or bulk up more for the LW division.He's definitely got skills but he needs to be right mentally.Murray will be a great fight for him and i would predict a Mitchell victory :good:good

Agreed - was a complete waste of money. I can't remember ever going to a show where when I came out with my mates we could not remember a fight of the night, even one that was e relatively more interesting then the rest of the rubbish card.

Mitchell must have been on the pop to want this, or more likely it's a press release to help negotiations for some other scheme.

 

Need to see him at least back in the ring first before thinking about a Katsidis rematch. You get the feeling its going to be a long road back for Kevin if he wants a big fight again. Mitchell v Rees would be good scrap to see, and a winnable fight for Mitchell.

mitchell imo is alot better fighter than shown against kas kas was too far step up and would give anyone problems super feather mitchell has a better chance but i think mitchell will prove he belongs in world level murray is a real tester but maybe murray wants world titles and then fight mitchell what a fight that would be the two of them are untested at elite level but are bopth exciting fighters and may both go all the way or both fail who knows

 

What's in it for Katsidis??

He just fought a terrific fight with a legend in JMM, he's not looking back at a Mitchell fight unless silly money was offered.

And do you seriously think silly money's going to be offered for Mitchell to get spanked again??? Regardless of the money, Mitchell will only get Katsidis again if Katsidis loses his next couple of fights and is on the slide. He may then want the money to fight Mitchell in England.

Mitchell needs to focus on other options within this next 12 months of his boxing future.

 

sorry i disagree katsidis will fight for another world title and more than likely win one, where as mitchell aint got the dedication proven.
kats just fought for a world title greiving mitchell fell out with his girl and got injured in the fight b******t, there is the difference between the two

 

This isnt a good sign it shows he doesnt accept the loss and his delusions of grandeur will continue. He needs to be realistic would have been much better if he had come out and said i want to get to world level again by getting the British title before going through Murray

 

not to mention that Katsidis fought not long after his brother died.

 

what excuse will he use next time if he ever fights Katsidis again?
