    Whoever selected Detroit, MI as the site needs their ass beat. Of all the places in the US this fight could have happened, they picked a crime infested, dirty as hell, nothing else to do shithole like Detroit. I mean no disrespect to MI and/or Detroit, but it's just the truth. I live in Arkansas, obviously it's not the the most attractive place for outsiders, so I'm not trying to **** on Detroit directly. In this instance though, it was a horrible choice and it's not an indictment on the fighters necessarily, it was just a horrible choice of venue. Didn't Dirrell (who's from Detroit) draw horribly for one of his recent fights there? I hope it works out and I hope some folks show up, because this is an embarassment to Detroit. The economy is in the shitter, they try to throw you a bone and help you out, and you don't take it...extremely intelligent Detroit...SMH.

    That guy isn't a real promoter. The only thing he has is two phone numbers, Showtime's and HBO's. That fat ass embodies all that's going with the sport. Remember he ''promotes'' Dawson, too. What a success.:patsch

    Why is this fight in ****ing PONTIAC??? Alexander would have drawn 9000 easy in his hometown.

    Even a card at the Montréal Casino with only unknown green prospects fighting 4 rounders draws 750 people without much promoting.

    The fight wouldn't need one ounce of promotion in St Louis. Scottrade Center would be sold out and the place would be rocking. Dumb ass promoters.

    This fight should have been in St Louis where it would have sold 15k tickets.

    Not to mention Detroit is about one of the poorest and destitute cities in America right now. This whole thing was bungled by the Promoters.

    The promoters are idiot and greedy. This should have been done in NYC, Atlantic City, small venue in Vegas or Southern Cali.

    They ****ing signed a contract to get a huge site fee. Which is fine for the promoters but ****s up everybody else.
