Dude, are you not getting what I'm saying? I never said his act doesn't work. It obviously does to a lot of people. BUT he would be more appealing to the masses if he were to act like a legitimate American athlete. You know, as in being a good role model instead of acting like a thug. What would have it been like if Jordan was walking around acting like a teenage thug like Floyd still does almost half way into his thirties? Same thing that is happening to Floyd...Rarely getting any endorsement deals or praise for being a celebrated American athlete. He put himself in this position.
If he didn't act the way he did he would be boring and no one would care about him, Mosley was a very humble guy, and look what happened to him, Roy Jones was even better than Mayweather and look what happened. Tyson was an ass, and look what happened, people love drama, Floyd is just smart enough to see this.
Agreed. You're the only one living your life. A kid always puts them self first and are always doing what they want. They also know no shame.
Exactly. But before you say just like Floyd Im not sure Floyds happy. But him giving no fuk what everyone thinks is a good approach but hes also getting into too much ****. Had he been staying out of news and partying in the bahamas or living clean, who can beat that?
RJJ fought mostly bums during the decade in which he was rated the best, which IMO had a large effect on his PPV numbers. No way in hell could you say Mayweather has more fans today than RJJ did. RJJ was a cool dude, landed a huge contract with Jordan. Both those guys garnered fans mostly from their skills, not their character and antics outside the ring. Tyson got famous for knocking people out, and wasn't so much a nuisance until he got out of jail. Before he became controversial, the masses adored him because he was knocking people out, not acting like a thug. He had commercials, tv show/movie appearances, even a gd video game made for him because of people admired him for his boxing. As a matter of fact, when Tyson turned into the bad guy, that's when everything went downhill from him. If Floyd was so smart, he would have seen this too. He is on the same path. If you have skills, people will love you regardless. Floyd is always complaining about not getting his recognition and endorsement contracts, well duh it's because he is acting like a stupid ass. Like I said, he put himself there.
^Isn't it funny how anyone can get on a forum and figure out that they're black. 99.5% of *****s are black aged 12-35. A lot of the older black men in my family are Pac fans. True story.
This guy is a self hating black boy lets leave him alone. Poor mofo confused as it is. With being half and half.
